Hi, I’m Wymtime and I am a boost-a-holic. I first started using boosts for extra AP damage with OBW. Then as I got into 3* land I started boosting AP for shield hopping. I was able to win a bunch of matches while boosting which helped me earn top 25 and top 10 placements. Now if I see a match worth enough points I throw some AP boosts in. 40 points in PVP boost. 35 points in PVP boost. I am even willing to Sentry Hop a little to ensure victory. I see all the TU I have and think it is worth 200-400 ISO to win faster than use this TU. I fear one day I will be boosting on seed teams just because it is what I do. I have a problem. I am a boost-a-holic and the first step to anything is admitting you have a problem. I don’t know what the 2nd step is so I will continue to boost. Don’t end up like me, don’t be a boost-a-holic as it will allow me to win more rewards.

Thank you for this public service announcement.

If I remember correctly the second step is traditionally accepting that there is a higher power. So have you accepted RNGesus into your life yet?
  • The third step is putting all your iso into a 4* (takes 470K iso) so you cannot afford boosts for a very long time.
  • If you are really tired of Boosts, try Ensure for your meal replacements. icon_lol.gif
  • Is it really bad that everything being double iso right now justifies using even more boosts?

and my habit started with old mstorm, +2 r/y for a one match mistress of the elements clearing out all the environment first thing.

Unless the second mode involves no boosts allowed I don't see why there would ever be a strategy that involves not boosting assuming the goal is to win.

My name is James, and I am an MPQ addict. It started with simple 1 star.png battles in the proloque. It advanced from there. Now I'm using boosts, health packs, and TUs. I can't stop now. I'm too far gone at this point. icon_twisted.gif

I used to use +3 R/Y & G/K AP boosts for Sentry bombing.

Now, I sometimes use +3 G/K AP boosts for XForcing later in a PVP.

That would be like rehab. I would go into withdrawl and start boosting on the prologue just to get my fix, riot's might followed by looting!!

I will be back later I need to go do a boosted PVP it has been 2 hours since my last boost

Can put those guys with the true healing rehab guys. I was still setting up for a recovery against level 30 guys where I took 200 damage!
  • Just going to say this... while it's anniversary week, using +3 iso8.png boosts per PvP fight still nets some iso8.png profit. As opposed to usual, when it's roughly a push. Yay anniversary double iso8.png!

I would like to encourage all of you to keep boosting instead of using it to steadily level up your characters.

    Go on. Boost.

    Don't stop.

    Keep boosting.
