Been listening to a lot of The Gaslight Anthem lately. They're quite enjoyable.
Then, to the side of my music that makes many people give me weird looks: a lot of Crown the Empire, new Color Morale, and I've never gone a week without listening to the Amity Affliction since August of 2013.
The Second Stage Turbine Blade
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 <-- playing right now
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow
Year Of The Black Rainbow
The Afterman: Ascension
The Afterman: Descension
Whenever they come to Calgary, I'm there. They are my favourite band and it's the only concert I attend. I haven't had the fortune to be in their really big shows in the States. Our crowd is probably about half that size with the room they play in here.

Updated: Then it was Rick Wakeman - Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (the 2012 version), Dar Williams - In The Time Of Gods
Right now it's Alpha Rev - Bloom. The mightiest album of 2013, IMHO.
Update again: Coheed & Cambria - The Afterman: Decension, followed by Dream Theater - Dream Theater
Next up, The Flower Kings - Desolation Rose
I'll get bored of updating this soon, promise.
Now it's back to trawling the archives; Camel, (songs inspired by) The Snow Goose.
Then I think it will be a fest of either Mediaeval Baebes or Pain Of Salvation, decisions, decisions...

(I don't have the first album with John Rutsey on drums.)
