Score-attack based Event

No rubberbanding. No grinding.

Score is calculated through the following conditions:
  • Time taken
  • Number of turns used
  • Health at the end
  • AP at the end
Perhaps also other bonuses like overkill or doing a no-boost run. Maybe adjust score multipliers differently for 1-star, 2-star and 3-star so those with lesser cards can still be competetive.

    Anyway, it sounds like what this proposal is for, is basically for a skill-based tourney that rewards skillful play. Basically, you get style points at the end for meeting certain conditions.

    I've been thinking over exactly how this might work, but the problem is that certain characters' abilities play right into a lot of what would normally be considered skillful play. e.g. Remaining health at the end = Spidey players have a leg up. Number of cascades = Rag players have a leg up. Fewest number of turns taken = Rag/Widow (C. Magneto, other instakill characters) players have a leg up, slow starters like Model 40 have an automatic disadvantage...
