IceIX and devs, any hints for the future?

So we got some hints about upcoming characters a while back, and since then all four characters have been introduced: Nick Fury, 3* Storm, Sentry, and She-Hulk.
I think we all know Iron Patriot is coming eventually, but other than that we don't have much in the way of tantalizing tidbits to look forward to.
Are there any hints or straight-up announcements you can make, such as story events, new play modes, upcoming characters, or buffs/new powers for existing characters?
With a lot of players feeling pretty down about healing changes (personally, I'm more happy about the faster recovery times than bothered by the temporary healing, but I'm fully in the 3* stage of the game), now would be a great time to get people excited about new stuff coming their way!

Long time since Ares, maybe Iron Patriot a 2* since there is not 2* Iron Man model. Better yet, make Iron Patriot a 3* and demote IM40 to 2*.
If going to do more characters, need more villains just so can get more variety in the PVE nodes and eventually a DA version of Heroic PVE. Time for Osborn to become 4* Green Goblin and Secretary Trusk become 4* Red Skull.

I really hope they announce something before season 3 ends. Because it will probably be my last one as a 'serious' player if nothing is coming around the bend. I don't really have the will to grind up 800+ points in PvP tournaments that have rewards I don't need.0 -

Hell no!! Don't demote IM40. He's a pretty good tank that feeds AP. He is IMO a very essential 3*.0 -

There's absolutely no need to demote 3* Iron Man to introduce a 3* Iron Patriot. Daken is Dark Avengers Wolverine, and he coexists at both 2* and 3* levels with his daddy (and his Marvel-standard daddy issues).
That said, 3* Iron Man could use a redesign. He has too many drawbacks compared to his strengths, while also having rather high AP costs. The drawbacks should justify low AP costs, or high AP costs should justify a lack of drawbacks, IMO.
Actually demoting any character would open a huge can of worms of player compensation, ISO loss, meta shakeup, and etc. Better to make them fit their * tier and balance them appropriately.0 -
You'll have to excuse me, I confused myself that Iron Patriot was Iron Man, but obviously he's War Machine, so would not be a conflict to have two 3*'s since Iron Patriot would not just be another model of IM40.
So, 3* IM40 and Iron Patriot fine. I don't guess 2* War Machine would aslo work then?0 -

In the context of Dark Reign, Iron Patriot is Norman Osborn, leader of the Dark Avengers. For that reason, I don't see him as being a 2* character.0 -

Speaking from 2* land, we could use a IM40 2* version. It would be a nice supporting character to feed AP to the team. Additionally, when I started, there were equal numbers of 2 and 3* characters, now there are twice as many 3*. I know it won't make money, but we could use 3 or 4 new 2* models. I'd gladly take lazy versions0
