The Hunt mission values drop when not playing?

This morning the first mission in Alaska was worth 50ish points, this evening it's at 15. I haven't played any hunt missions today. My understanding of rubber-banding is that as other people's scores increase (in PvE they can't decrease) that the number of points my missions are worth should increase. Is there any condition short of me earning points that would make the value drop?
