text box incompatible with swiftkey

every time i try to chat in alliance, text input fails, i cannot slide or input words by each letter, have to swap keyboard every time and then switch back, it's quite annoying

i.e. when i type hello. only one letter show up each time. so when i type 'e', the 'h' before disappear, and only one letter stays on screen

the keyboard app i use on the android 4.0 Nexus 5 is swiftkey (latest)
