Late registration of point deductions

I was pushing my way up the leaderboard and reached 653 points and decided to go for the 8 hour shield.

Between me applying the shield and it registering I was hit twice and ended up on 609 points once I left the "confirm payment for shield" pop-up window.

It has left me really frustrated. I will be asleep for the remaining hours of this event and I am not about to un-shield after I spent 150HP.

Maybe as you confirm the spending of the HP you will also be told how many points you have at the moment. And If you are hit during that time the shield window will close automatically and display the window of who hit you and for how much.

Please can you look into a way to prevent this from happening.

    Yep, pretty irritating, especially when you're trying to push for a particular reward (a cover you need as much as you need oxygen). I would be very glad to see the issue resolved.
