As players why would we ever demand LESS content? This is actually something I noticed when I first came over to this game from playing Gems of War: how little actual content there is to play on a daily basis. This was 5 years ago but outside of some extra DDQ nodes and the Tower that has toppled from sight, nothing much else has changed. We have more daily quests (reasons to play), but little in the way of extra actual content in which to complete them (opportunities to play). It is quite strange, to me at least. But in GoW, if you choose, you could grind varying content and play modes for hours (and hours) to accumulate resources or just you know enjoy the game.

The loudest MPQ players are the ones who want to win everything by playing for 5 minutes a day, max.
I don't know where this attitude came from but it's been the default attitude among high-level players for a VERY long time now -- witness how they speak for all of us when they say more content is bad for players.
I think it has to do with the general divide in the playerbase between "MPQ is a match-3 game that includes roster building" and "MPQ is a roster building game that requires you to do dumb match-3 stuff sometimes." The "MPQ is a roster building game" players absolutely dominate high level spaces and have pushed out anyone who disagrees.

I don’t get this. EB, You’re someone with the highest post count on this forum. You have made dozens of posts about nerfing MThor, if not more. You clearly believe weekly boost lists is one of the best thing for this game and PvP coordination via Line is one of the worst parts of this game. Objectively, you could say you are one of the ‘loud voices’ here.
You get to have those opinions, and you get to be vocal about them. Why can’t others do the same with their opinions?
I’d prefer if you state your opinion as to why you agree or disagree. That gets us dozens pages about MThor. Great for the forum. This line of arguing you are doing now though, pushes other people (like me) away.

Without getting too much into design philosophy and all that jazz (or speaking on behalf of the philosophy of anyone else on the team), I don't think there's really a right or wrong side to come down on this because games like this are an ecosystem that sustains different groups of players engaging at different levels.
This discussion is definitely helpful for us as we are still getting to know the place, but for now, we do want to try and keep things running as they have been to get a nice baseline going.
(Leaving aside instances of everything in the toolchain breaking and needing to make quick decisions, and that sort of thing which [KNOCK ON WOOD] we seem to be mostly coming through the other side of.🤞🤞🤞)

Eb likes to complain, it gives him a reason to get up in the morning.
I think ip2 are doing pretty well tbh, can we have a faq soon as i really have questions on bcs' unity "upgrade", especially some of @TheMigz comments that they seem to have been in the 7th layer of hell since inheriting what ever it is they were trying to accomplish.3 -

Others do get to have their opinions. I get to disagree with those opinions, just like others get to disagree with me.
I think I stated pretty clearly why I'd prefer more content to play. Why do you prefer less content?

Oh, just to correct the record: I don't think PvP coordination via Line is bad, at all. As one of the players who helped to create PvP coordination via Line, that would be deeply hypocritical on my part.
I do think the current state of PvP coordination on Line is deeply un-fun. Coordination works really well when it's a relatively small team (20 is the number that works best, oddly, even though they didn't choose alliance size on purpose) playing a coordinated team game against other groups that are also coordinating.
Putting 500,000 "friendly" players in a room behind a truce just removes all strategy and reduces the game to a boring slog.

It’s been a very long time since you did the coordinating thing, right? There’s less people than your example of a good situation for a fair few years now.
Might be good to reevaluate.
Thank you

That's good (although people have talked about big rooms here relatively recently, so I'm not sure I buy it!) but it's not for me anymore. If the big rooms truly have fractured down to small groups then I'm glad to hear it and happy for those players.

“Big room” is more of a historic term. S4 BR is like 50 players with maybe a third actually active players. The days of FoX with 250 players in a room or 50 in a chaser’s room are years and years ago.
Giving away almost all the stones, plus most completing their gauntlets before that removed a lot of incentive for players. It’s a bit like after the slice wars, but before they introduced Stones. Very quiet.
Thank you for the trip down memory lane.

Yeah and to be more specific than lux's reply, there is 57 in the s4 big room. But of those 57 probably half don't even play in s4, for like seasons at a time. Daiches should kick a lot of them lol. And probably half of the rest only play to 1.2 or 1.3, myself included.

Did ppl get the right amount covers/ shards for new Falcon? My Red Hulk is 490 and my Falcon has only 11 covers. I thought I would be getting 12 covers. I dont think the 2nd red cover at level 455 came through in the rewards.

People sent tickets. I suggest you do as well for the missing cover.

Technically, the Sunspot feeder status did not change at all, so no one should have gotten any under their standard approach of only giving you things that have changed.
Sunspot is still secondarily fed by Red Hulk, just like he was before, when you got retro shards from Red Hulk when he was added to the game, or should have.
Let's just be happy we got some extra Sunspot shards and move on, shall we?
