Endless animation loop in story mode when casting creatures

For two or three weeks this has been an ongoing issue. Whenever a creature is cast onto a battlefield which has one or several creatures already, an endless animation loop begins with an effect that looks like a zombie jumping to and fro between two creatures, no matter if these are two creatures owned by the player or one owned by the player and the other by the enemy. This animation loop is never resolved, it can only be terminated by answering "yes" and thus ending the loop when the loop detection prompt appears.
Even then it takes several seconds until the battle phase finally begins. Obviously all remaining cards in the player hand with full mana are not played.

This is incredibly annoying since the player is forced to sit there for an incredibly long amount of time while effectively nothing happens. I can't say if this behaviour is tied to any specific encounters or opponents, but it just happened again while fighting the first node of this week's story.

Right now this bug turned up for me outside of story mode for the first time in a match outside of story mode, in the third encounter of Fateful Showdown.

I think I experienced the same issue yesterday in the Planar Chaos event.
The game froze after, I had casted the first and only card in the game (Arna from PM2). I was playing Jace reawakened
after a while the LPS kicked in (I heard the bell but no prompt), but the interface was now only able to quit.

It seems you have some sort of non-card related bug. Please find it, because this is a very annoying bug.
