Where is Dormammu?

With all of the Cosmic hype, will we finally get Dormammu? Hopeful of a 6*, but will take a 5*. This is way overdue.

    Just surprised there's no tie-in to the Wonder-Man series that just landed on streaming. Rather then getting obscure variants or an other 30 symbiote versions of stuff we already have, it would be nice to see something a bit more "current". At any * rating.

    That is weird. Usually Disney requires tie-ins to whatever current thing they're doing. Anybody know if the other Marvel games got a Wonder-Man character?

    They might still be releasing BCS-designed characters too, I think they used to make them all way in advance.

From memory (and could be wrong) we didn't get a character for Falcon & Winter Soldier, Werewolf by Night, Guardians Christmas Special (we got a costume), Hawkeye (we got a Kate Bishop costume), Echo, Secret Invasion, X-Men 97 (although we sort of got a Jubilee costume based off the show but 3 and 5 Jubilee actually got released after the show so arguably coincidence rather than tied in) or Ironheart. There are a bunch of characters they could have released from all that, some of which we still don't have in game. Also did we get anything for Thunderbolts? Don't think Loki Season 2 or Season 2 & 3 of What If? got anything or the Spider-Man animated show from 2024.

    Or sometimes they make the odd choice of releasing a comic book version for an MCU release like Cosmo for GOTG3, Sidewinder for Captain America: Brave New World without any particular reason, Nova for FF:First Steps also who isn't even anywhere near the film.

    So there is plenty of precedent of not supporting Marvel current releases or doing so in odd ways.

    They’ve been doing season theme more than character releases to tie in with current projects.

    He's Clea's uncle, so all we need is some kind of national "Actually, Your Uncle is Super Cool and You're Wrong" Month and they'll probably add him.

    Oh, I know I'm well aware it's not a rule or anything, just saying it would be nice...
    Not everyone comes from the comic book side of Marvel some of us are more from the MCU side of things. And I'm certainly not arguing against Dormammu either.
    But we just had two variants of the same Lin Lie character at two different tiers. Why are we doing the same characters over and over again while others are completely missing and would currently be relevant anyway?
    I think we got 5* Bucky for thunderbolts but for me I would just prefer we get tie-ins for things we've not had yet. So for next cap America or deadpool or whatever I don't want yet another version of them really, but I watched Wonder-Man and couldn't help but think I wonder how his powers would be in MPQ?
    And yeah I really wish they had done a tie-in for Werewolf by Night, that was so cool! (I think we just got the black and white costume for Elsa Bloodstone instead).
    Anyway i totally get they might have inherited a bunch of done/half-done characters that need to come first, but i would still appreciate tie-ins, especially now that Marvel has significantly cut back their yearly output. It's not like we're getting 6 shows and 4 films in a year that need to be accommodated.
    It would just be nice... that's all I'm saying.

    If they ever put Man-Thing in, and Longshot and Mojo, that would be about it for me. I might just quit after that lol.

    We need to get some kind of Man-Thing movement going where every time they release Bolo Bearer or whoever we ask why isn't it Man-Thing? Like the Red Skull folks did.
