Hi folks!

Thread for the week.
We kicked off today fixing a softlock that was occurring when the animation for Iron Fist (Lin Lie)'s Fist of the Chosen power was fired.

Speaking of abilities...
Initially we weren't sure how much capacity our artists would have for adding the extra artwork (hard to know your pace until you've done at least a couple of pieces), so we kept it straightforward. Well, turns out they're moving pretty nicely through things, so we've gone back to ol' mate Sword Master, and moving forward, we are aiming to have some extra artwork for characters moving forward. 👀

    Pass ended a few days early. So any quests we do can’t earn rewards anymore.

    We have also not yet received any info on what you will do with the wrong vault.

    I have all tokens earned and acquired this season waiting for the correct vault and/or compensation plans.

    Would hate thought miss out on high value IF and DD 3as4s which I need still to ascend.

    So if we can get an official word on that before the next season starts, that would be swell.

    The season pass is also showing the premium cost has gone up to 1800 HP. Not that big a deal over the course of a season, but thought it was worth letting everyone know. I know a lot of people didn't feel like it was worth it when it went from 1000 to 1500.

    To recap - There was an error in scheduling originating with the Sword Master release events which meant we had a PVE event starting last night AND in a few hours time. This was not an intended change to the cadence of events.

    It really wouldn't have been a burden on anyone but the most hardcore PvE competitors. Everybody else could either pick one event to compete in (the same as always) or farm rewards from two events.

    The only players that would've been affected by this are those that compulsively cannot ignore any event and are compelled to win at absolutely everything.

    Obviously cancelling it isn't the end of the world, but you made this decision because it was a negative for a fraction of a percent of your playerbase, when it would've been positive or neutral for everyone else.

    If you're interested in making changes to support the most hardcore fraction of a percentage of players, I'd be happy to give you a list of stuff for PvP!

    AFAIK this happens all the time, more than twice. The pass contents disappear at some point before the new stuff populates. Usually (?) it was at 7 AM EST, now it may be noon EST (Wednesday, apparently). IIRC one of my ally mates missed out on some of the pass because they like to wait to do the quests until like the last day of it and they were playing when the contents went away. ANYWAY it always says 1800 and often people have posted saying "The cost went up!"; then it goes back to 1500.

    Like no offense to anyone here, this is hardly the type of thing I expect people who aren't obsessed with game details to remember happening before, but I fully expect it to be 1500 when they actually have contents on the pass again.

    Migz answered my question about this in previous thread, they aren't going to reset any vaults so you can go ahead and spend your tokens. They are still figuring out what compensation they will do for the error.

    Nah. In another thread they said they took it down cause it wasn’t supposed to go up. There will be an overlapping pve on Wednesday.

    Hmmm yeah, I didn't initially read it as sarcasm but it's a good reminder to not take this "toilet game for babies" seriously.

    We’re asking for

    • launching the correct vault (since it’s the same tokens as said by Ice at the very start of the season)
    • letting us know the compensation so we can decide how and when to spend these tokens. If they run an exchange for the correct 3as4s it’s worth to know so we can pull even at much much worse odds.

    All we want is the same good stuff other people have access to. Fair playing field.
