I want to say yes, but I can't be 100% certain - so the best I can do is "pretty sure".

Can confirm. I completed the quests, but didn't get the points.

I also completed the quests today but didn’t get to unlock anything from the season pass either.

Also feels like this months season pass is taking longer than usual to complete

Even when the daily points work, they are 250 per quest so that’s 500 a day out of 1000 for a level. So you can easily do quests and get no reward that day.

The points are lower than usual - 1/3 the old? Normal? points per screenshots I have when they were 750.

The devs say this was a mistake and they will compensate us.

Update - Nope, I was wrong.

Further investigation (read: paying attention) revealed that I was successfully accumulating points, only at a fraction of their previous rate - so it didn't feel like they were adding up as quickly as usual.

If memory serves, it used to be around 1000 per mission per day, averaging 2 levels and 4 rewards daily (with premium). Now it's merely 250 per, adding up to only one-half level per day - meaning that some days I get no-prize.

Yesterday happened to be one of those days, and it hadn't yet dawned on me that we were only at one-quarter impulse power, which sorta explains why I felt "pretty sure" that I must've missed out on some points or something and registered a false positive.

I jumped the gun, sorry about that.

I assume I jumped the same gun... Or at least a similar enough gun that it could play the lookalike version of the original gun in a novelty act in Vegas.

    Yeap, I can confirm!
I also had the same feeling and thought!

After your comment... i keeped and eye in the scoring... 😅

    And yes...
And I also thing that the daily quests here 750p!
Maybe because there putting the 5* has reward, they probably have lowered the points (making assumptions, because... they had to make some changes on the scoring/rewards)

I thought something weird was happening as my progress seemed to really slow down despite completing a bunch of quests at weekend. But then we've never had the new 5* as a giveaway in SP either so who knows what is or isn't meant to be happening.

SXP accu rate vastly slower than before... And that's when the enticing 5* covers are in there... Coincident? I think not :|

They have also not offered any SXP for hero points either, which the old team did every week or so I think. Probably since there is a 5* cover in the rewards they are wanting to slow down access. I wonder if the 250 SXP was truly a mistake or for a similar thought, and then they realized it was way too slow.

I honestly don't think they are trying to slow down access or even know what is going on. It would be great if they were doing it on purpose as it would mean they understand the game. I think they have no idea what they are doing.

Exactly. I mean, it's been bad before but this is a whole new level of bad.

I thought we had one season pass with ghost rider pool?

Also Lin Lie is terrible, the art is good though.

The Ghost Rider was the Robbie Reyes one, but yeah. One 5* pass before, standard points and things. A Classic 5 no one was chasing, predictable due to his mediocre kit.

Obviously a brand new 5 is different.

    1. He's the 116th 5. At this point it seems like just making the pass hand out the 5 is probably a good way to try leverage the work making the 5. Most of them players are completely happy just using earned resources to chase or not. Might as well see if combining the 5 in the pass with the vault makes anyone spend more due to perceived value increase.
    2. Making the points lower and selling SXP for cash could obviously be intentional; it may not be that they meant to make the points lower, but OTOH they are exactly 1/3 lower, and it sure seems like another twist of the dial. They have continually tweaked the pass and vault in an attempt to generate sales by making things harder to get.
    3. Lin lie isn't exactly terrible. He's perfectly serviceable as a character you can use. Has a stun, a couple nukes etc. There are just 391 characters now and there's no particular reason to use him over dozens of other options.

Ah, the cost of unlocking levels on the season passes is higher… I hadn’t calculated that. I thought it would be identical to what it was before. All right this makes sense thanks guys.

I don’t think the pass level costs changed to 1000. I think they always cost 1000.

However with 2 dailies at 250 each you get 1/2 a level per day from those. When they were 750 each you cleared 1.5 levels plus you get 200 xp from each of the reward trees when you clear a level.

So that was the change. How many points you get, not what you need.
