Character swap bug..it's been months and still not fixed

Of all the bugs (other than the game crashing in the middle of playing) this has to be the most frustrating for me. You save a team, select the saved team, and somehow the game swaps one of your characters for someone else. How is this not fixed?

    This particular bug has never happened to me and I have never heard of it until now. I haven't seen it mentioned here on the forum, in my Alliance chat, on discord, or FB.

    My guess would be that this bug is effecting few players and is low priority compared to bugs that effecting many more people and/or are much more game breaking.

    Happens to me too. I even recreated the saved team and it still happened. Oddly, it doesn't happen every event. But when it does, mine swaps 3Thanos for 3Magneto

    Happens to me also. Not every event, but when it happens during a specific event, it happens every time I go into a new node for that event.

    Didn’t happen to me for weeks and now with 335 it’s back all of a sudden. Almost cost me my placement this past PvE event.

    One known case of when/why it happens is having saved teams with lower versions of your characters. For example: saved team with 3Thanos when you also have 3a4 or 3a5 Thanos on your roster.

    Incredibly frustrating bug.

    I think it’s been reported enough to assume that it affects plenty of players.

    I get 3* Doom swapped in every now and then. Can't identify what causes it. Isn't every event, but when it does happen, it happens a lot. ie, go to add a boost, come back out of the boost screen and Doom is there. And it isn't just a graphical glitch, Doom is really in the team. Has caused me to have to retreat a few times. I think it is only PVP. Also force quitting and restarting seems to fix.

    Also, I now sometimes get crashes when I click on roster. But previously the game just froze, now it completely shuts down and I just reload.
    All other crashes seem to have stopped for me, so as long as I only use saved teams in PVE, I can actually start to play for placement again, as I no longer have to allow time for a crash or two during final clears, or worse still a crash during a wave node which completely destroys your placement (if it happens after clearing the first wave).

    Happens to me constantly. Multiple times per day. It's usually one char, and it's ALWAYS my highest-level 3* Magneto.

    I have noticed this correlation, for sure. I can't make it happen, but I've seen what you mention.

    In the current alliance event, 3* doom is getting swapped in for the boss battles, but not for the side nodes. I am using the same team (well trying to if only doom would stop interfering) for the boss and side nodes, so the logic behind the swaps continues to elude me.

    Happens to me a lot. I get 1* Black Widow and it’s always the weakest one in my roster.
