Strange Sights - EIGHT CLEARS (SCL10)
What is going on with Strange Sights? I chose SCL 10 and it’s forcing me to do each node EIGHT TIMES when it’s normally 4. This is going to take an eternity to do eight clears on such a high level.

They added more rewards to each node, but they're extra.

I saw that too, and also used the timer to see that 3-clears was still the right amount for the initial wave.
But I do not have the 5* Essential node. I'm in Book of Vishanti. Are others seeing it?

Otherwise it’s the rewards are extra and don’t need to do more than you would have previously.

Wand of Watoomb seems to be missing that nodes well.

SCL10 on Steam here. Same shiat of missing 5* nodes and 8x reward for single nodes + 6x rewards for wave nodes. At least the timer starts after 2-3 clears...
And the dev has the cheek to say they fixed things in the latest build...

Cause the ones you get First are only the iso ones, less tokens and hp / cp given out

From my usual Count I was missing a standard and a heroic After the usual end / initial clear but at this point I don’t Even Trust my own mind anymore

If I had to guess, I'd guess that they meant to do it at some point in the future and released it now by accident.

Cause iirc you need to hit the nodes to get them. If usual # of hits can get extra, I don't mind. SCL10 is a slugfest...

Cause iirc you need to hit the nodes to get them. If usual # of hits can get extra, I don't mind. SCL10 is a slugfest...
So just skip the extra hits and get the same rewards as before?

Sigh, somehow I always knew that was the answer, but had to ask anyway.

The node rewards were most recently adjusted to provide you with a visual and gameplay indicator of how many times you need to hit a node to make sure you hit progression. At least, certainly in 10. Maybe lower ones too.
The rewards ended one hit before you went to zero. If you cleared all the node rewards at any time you could make sure you’d hit progression regardless of letting the timer/points recharge and hitting after that.
If they added more rewards past the points being clear it would remove that indicator.
This seems like an error to me.

On the first node usually if I did 3 clears I would get ISO, ISO, Standard Token.
Now I did 3 and got ISO, ISO, ISO. And it looks like the standard token isn't until the 5th clear.

I have the same thing. I also haven't done the update yet. On Samsung Galaxy s25+

The reason that this is a nerf is that to get the rewards like red iso for the standard difficulty nodes, you need to clear the node at least 5 times when you used to get that reward on the 2nd clear. Now you get the two piddling low iso rewards on the first 2 clears and the standard token on your third it seems. This directly reduces red iso availability, which was already one of the rarest resources,

This definitely feels like an error. The Challenge node in Wand of Watoomb now has 2 single CP rewards that you don’t start to get until clear 5, when the single cp used to be clear 3. Also the 5* node just isn’t there at all.

Venom Bomb also has twice the rewards.
And the 5E is giving out tokens for the Mighty Thor release store (the HP one with 1:250 or whatever odds). From 2022.
