Can we get some timescale on the fix for Tower Mode, please? Was easy to overlook it not being fixed on Friday and then clearly it wasn't being fixed on the weekend but Monday has gone now and no official statement here or in game.

Not in Android.
Also I think the scoring is broken

Tower not working for me either.
Look I know we joked about it looking more like a ramp than a Tower but that is no reason to take your Tower and go home!

Anniversary was the worst dumpster fire i think I've witnessed since playing.
Guess we are just gonna gloss over that yeah? You haven't been playing long enough...
I've definitely been playing long enough and I have to agree it was the single largest dumpster fire I have seen (not counting the Unity release). Can't say any one event has even come close:
- New scaling of SLCs in PVE with almost no explanation or introduction from them unless you are on Social Media.
- SLC10 CN node failure and then trying to fix the first failure while PVE was in progress.
- Doop codes announced as coming for Anniversary and then never happened.
- Anniversary Vaults that couldn't be reset (though previous anniversarys they could)
- A Tower node that didn't go past the first round
- A Tower node that didn't even look like a tower
- A Tower node where we were told the rewards would be better than they initially looked and we were told we would get more info soon and never got more info.
Personally, I would add the "meh" intro of Galactus but that's not quite a dumpster fire. Maybe a tiny alley fire.
Anyways, there were so many missed opportunities and blah stuff about this anniversary that I sort of wonder what the thought was behind it. And the consistent lack of communication doesn't help either.

I would like to see Man Thing that's a 6 star character power level. Or include one of my favorite comic book runs, the Marvel Cosmic brainchild of Abnett and Lanning. So Emperor Vulcan, Gladiator of the Imperial Guard, or Blastaar. Not all of these may be 6 star status but since Machine man has never shown up i will look forward to seeing who is the equal of Galactus.

If you've been here since the beginning then you're underselling many, many other "dumpster fires."
There have been times when the game was just literally down for everyone, for extended periods. There were many times when you'd sign in and there'd be no PvE or PvP events running at all. Completely broken characters, characters that caused crashes, all sorts of game-breaking bugs that lingered forever, unbeatable superbosses, Literally Quandary...
I agree that this anniversary is underwhelming and that Unity has left the game itself in an awful state and was an awful decision. But if you're saying this is the worst EVER? We have a long way to go to get there!

In the classic sense then, we can agree to disagree. There has never been this sense of "**** is going on" that I have ever seen. You gave some vague generalities but not specifics. Quandry, for example, was not fun but that wasn't a dumpster fire. It worked. It just wasn't fun. Same with ubeatable superbosses. Was it fun? No. But did it actually work? Yes. I listed many things that were either promised and didn't happen or just didn't work. This is easily the worst period for over promising and under delivering and an overall horrible anniversary.

I guess "dumpster fire" is subjective.
I also think an anniversary that's underwhelming, following/during the ongoing pile of nonsense that is Unity, did nothing to help rebuild stores of goodwill among hardcore veteran players.
It's understandable, but I'd still take the current set of circumstances over "game literally will not load" for several days, or "we forgot to launch any new events, sorry."

Personally, I’d take a brief period of “game won’t load for a couple days then it works fine” over what’s been going on lately.
Personally in my time playing I’ve never had a period like that but I do know some Android players were locked out for a while.
Also kindle folks got a raw deal when accidentally updated to the Unity version number, recently.
Anyway to me a major issue is basic QA has been at least partly abandoned for a lot of things lately.

Honestly, I don't remember big periods or days of "game literally will not load" or "we forgot to launch any new events, sorry". When did those happen? This has absolutely been the worst set of circumstances I have ever seen.

I didn’t play until 2015, almost 2nd anniv. And I wasn’t playing from Sept 2020 to Oct 2023.
There have been a few times I remember that an event was missing but usually those got resolved within a few hours or so. Maybe once we had a day off from pve when one wasn’t running for most of a day because of some snafu.

Oh man, you missed a lot!
Before they nailed the schedule down in the first few years, events were just random. It's been awhile, but there were plenty of times when they just didn't start an event -- you'd sign in and there'd be no PvP or PvE, just the Prologue.
Long downtimes have definitely happened. I can track down some specifics, but there were definitely periods of more than a day.
That's why I said "you haven't been playing long enough!" to that other guy (it was sort of a joke anyway and I didn't anticipate it kicking off serious debate). In the first few years everything was sort of haphazard and wonky, and stuff was broken all the time. I'm not saying it's good now -- it is obviously not, but saying it's the worst the game has ever been means including some truly ridiculous, awful stuff.
Caution: metaphor alert -- it's like the people who say American political discourse is the worst it's ever been. It's not great, and it might be the worst you've ever seen, but...like, we had an entire Civil War one time.

Oh, I played then. I just wasn't hard core. I've been playing since early 2014. This was pre alliance and pre me finding the forums on the internet so never knew how to play optimal. Just played each day when I could. Never noticed any of that but also wasn't on forums or Discord to chat with others. Had no idea there was a whole community.

You can go back and look at all the stuff we were talking about back then.
