Currently the CN node is the only one with any characters with level over 800. Considering the highest level character getting boosted is 799 in lightning round, I support the theory of level >800 broke it.

If you watch the post clear level up screen, after 3 clears of the CN it shows them go up to 825.
But when you go to the node the levels are different for round 4.
I suspect that could be a problem but maybe it’s just a display bug or something.

Hmmmmmm, why the difference? Why the tile-mover goes up 24 to 799 while goons go up 41 to 816?
Something odd there. Scaling is usually (always?) in lockstep.
EDIT to add: noticed that in LRs, 3* features that are 550'd are boosting to 799 (+45.3% lvls) ... interesting because my 480 IM40 boosts to 720 (+50% lvls) ... that's the pattern, it's been a +50% lvls boost forever. The 550'd featured 3s should be going to 825 (+50% lvls) in LRs. There is a ceiling at 799 for .... some reason. And the goons on the SCL10 CN are breaking it.

Seems legit, good work on the diagnostics! If only anyone from the Dev team would actually read the forum comments…
So our next issue is going to be boosted Galactus. If he’s starting at lvl700 (fully covered) he’ll almost certainly break the ceiling and be unusable 😣

So was the intention for the new SCL for us to not be able to clear that final green node the last two times? Cuz if it was, great job putting that in the game devs!!! As always, great work making sure the game runs smooth without any bugs!!!!

My thought is that on that fourth time, Carnage's health goes over 1,000,000 and the game can't handle it. Again, no proof at all but just my thought.

Not sure which thread to post to, but any mention from the devs if the clears and grind amount per pve node will be adjusted for scl 8 and scl 9 to accommodate the added difficulty?

I mean as long as we are all in the same (sinking) boat, I guess it doesn't matter too much for placement. For alliance placement, I have no idea how this affects it (i.e. is SCL 8/9 now able to get higher points for full progression than SCL 10 without the 2 hits of the FU node each day).

Exactly; featured 3s go over a million in LRs and have for months. All signs point to those goons being over lvl 799 as breaking the game's brain loops. See my prev comments in the thread.
Edit to add ... Last night, Bluewolf sent some screencaps over Discord documenting that in the "node leveling up" screen, the CN ticks up to 825-825-825 (I hadn't noticed that because I always blow through, doubly so because on Steam it slow counts since Unity...), but when you go into the node again, the enemies are rolled back to 816-799-816 ... the main rolled back to the (apparent) 799 cap, but the goons didn't. And the game hangs if you go farther.
To go farther, the game isn't completely hung, it just fails to load the match, stays on a black screen. You can still tap the menu, and it will ask if you want to retreat. If you tap 'YES' it stops responding...nothing further loaded.
Sure hope the devs are putting these pieces together. This isn't the right thread for these notes to be in LOL

I played Infinite Quest on SCL8. I enjoyed the higher rewards, I didn't enjoy having to do 6 clears again.
I thought I'd play Operation Spider Silk on SCL9, but somehow it's locked me in SCL1...! There's something I wish this game would fix, letting you change difficulty levels when you get butterfingers and land in the wrong one. Bah!

That's a bug and affects everyone.

Possibly it might resolve itself when the event starts in about 90 minutes or so. This is why I don't pre-join. If it doesn't, Devs won't even see this or Polaris bug for hours as they are Pacific Coast time.
