Those are obviously they best characters available from the list given.

Punisher used to be able to down Galactus with his red, so yeah they are! What's Beta Ray Bill gonna do, tell Galactus to back him in the 3.30 steeplechase? 😉

I think it's supposed to be a Fantastic Four themed boost list. Agatha, T'Challa, most of the Inhumans debuted in FF.

Heralds seem to be deliberately excluded.

Not sure how Iceman, BRB, Rogue, Punisher and a few others have made it on to an FF themed list though.

Yeah coz as well as the Heralds they could have used Wolverine, Ghost Rider and Hulk for actual FF thematic links. And whilst a Ms Marvel was a member it wasn't Carol Danvers.

It's entirely possible we will fight his heralds in the side nodes.....so they wouldn't be boosted if you're trying to create a story of using your teammates against Galactus and his forces.

It's a new event.

But actually BRB DOES have an FF link. Franklin becomes a sort of member of the kiddy group Power Pack and they team up with Thor and BRB to battle the villain Kurse. BRB becomes a sort of Guardian of the kids and goes to Thanksgiving Dinner with Franklin at the Power household. Oh and Wolverine, Kitty, Leech and Cloak & Dagger go too! I love Power Pack.

Galactus likes to use Maggia goons as although they have mandated breaks and maximum hours per week, they don't mind dying for a cause. Of course the cause is Galactus lunch but a jobs a job.

That's all but impossible these days unless you have a known Merc ready to join. My casual alliance hasn't had anyone randomly join since Unity was released in the early summer. We never had a problem before that.

Given the state of alliances outside the T100 ones, it would be nice if you could join another alliance for a Boss event without leaving your current one so that for Boss events you could at least be in an active alliance that had a shot at R8.

Absolutely valid analysis. There's no power, no team, nothing at all Bill could do to counter Galactus and Frank is ready to step up.

My alliance is public, and every time I get an open spot I get a random join within a few hours. Recently I had to open a spot for a player I knew, and I had to kick multiple random joins to keep the spot open for them.

I don't know why this happens to us but not to you.

Yep, already done that , one person has joined so far, all the problems we had with this game during the reset a couple of months ago has lost us at least 6 good players, it’s probably more than that as I only recognise about 10 names now

Are you only opening 1 spot (19/20)?

I currently have 3 spots open (17/20) and have since the summer. I think I recall the Devs saying a LONG TIME AGO that the random join algorithm first tries to fill all the 19/20 alliances before it puts anyone in an 18/20 and then after all 18/20 are filled it moves to 17/20. That could be what our problem is and if so it means we'll never get 3 people since there are so few new players joining now. Unless I create 2 bot accounts and join the alliance just to get to 19/20.
