    Sometimes characters just do things because it's different regardless of utility.

    I get it; there are 380 now. They probably have some grid or spreadsheet of ability types and they are seeking novelty so we feel like it's new, since it's otherwise a matter of "is this stronger than a prior character's power"?

    Anyway I'm not going to make a call on him pre-use but we've seen a huge number of characters with different abilities that end up benchwarming and that would be nothing new.

    1. He takes any SAP and turns it to Hydra tile
    2. Hydra tiles create punch tiles which then convert to Hydra tiles

    It's a fun cycle, just impossible to shine in a game where my Frankie can immediately start the match with 100+K team damage.

    Yeah. I am not 100% on the timing of these nor whether they vary but Zemo’s quests definitely were in game on Thursday at the same time as the new weekly quests appeared.

    It seems like usually they run 7 days starting then.

    Hopefully we get some for Zola and the quests aren’t broken or being held back because of the Zemo quest shenanigans.

    Thank you for saying this. I had originally posted something on this, then second guessed myself because I am a newer player and couldn't recall if 4* characters also go the ability event quests, or if it was just 5* characters. I knew the 4* characters got the Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D. event so I thought "well, maybe I am mistaken" and deleted my post.

    I am wondering if this is related to how Baron Zemo's quests were available, then they removed those quests (also saying they would return but never did).

    Not sure if everyone is seeing the same as I am but Zola's presence seems to completely break the game visually. Tiles seem to randomly show the wrong SAP or CD type and the wrong character logo. Think the colours are still right though.

    I noticed that. I can't help but think it's related to Mephisto's Hellfire bug, which does more or less the same thing (but worse, because colors are sometimes wrong.)

    I considered it, but I thought, why buy a costume for a character I'll likely never use much. I'll wait until they give it to us in a boss event or as part of VIP.

    Now that he’s working correctly he seems utterly useless to me.

    Edit: I’m sure he has some utility but there’s nothing he does that a whole bunch of characters don’t do better.

    So if your goal is to figure out how to make use of every character in some way, sure. Go nuts. But I don’t see him being a good choice for me when I’m trying to optimize clear speed and win pvp matches and I have about 145 4s yet to ascend.
