Looks like they went with this instead.

Huh. I was wondering why Zemo made weird countdown tiles!

I have no idea if this character is any good, but it seems like it could be something.

Why doesn't Bob make Hydra CDs?

Bob is just an employee of Hydra; it’s kind of the whole point of the character, giving a face etc to one of the hordes of enemies our heroes often fight, dressed in identical uniforms.

He’s in Hydra for the dental plan, not the belief system.

Hence he shouldn’t make Hydra tiles.

Seems interesting and possibly even (dare I say) fun with Zemo. Now if only the game would stop crashing on my phone so I could play long enough to try when he is released.

I keep looking at that green passive…. and liking it less and less.

    Hopefully, I’m overthinking it.

The amount of attack tile focus lately is kind of amazing.

Not sure it’ll work but kudos for trying.

Giving off the maker and maximus vibes power wise. The attack, strike, and protect tile shenanigans could be fun with all 3 of them combining all their passives and buffing the tiles to the max, and the damage output done by maximus and progress output done by the maker

My prediction for his primary feed:

Marvel Zombies is coming in a few weeks.

    People want Red Skull?

Fine, here’s a dead, rotting, disgusting Zombie Red Skull.

    Win-win.

It's going to synergise very well with Maximus and Zemo but a lot of his kit seems to be about taking tiles and doing something with them. I'm interested to try him for sure especially if you have a tile buffer...

When 5* Moonstone was released I was excited for an OG Thunderbolt that was lacking from the movie.

Then Zemo arrived and I was excited as well.

I'll chase him for nostalgia, but I'm not as excited anymore with the arrival of Mr Zola here.

It's partially because I don't care as much about Hydra, but that's a me issue...

More so, the shared "head of Hydra" passive doesn't make sense to me.

Passive AP gain while down doesn't reflect another head growing in the old one's place.

If it said "blah blah Madame Hydra/Viper appears to take their place" (or you could select the Hydra member that replaces them as with Taskmaster's ability select) it would be more fitting.

Leaving whomever's left with a few extra AP to maybe get off another ability before they go down as well feels underwhelming when considering the flavor text of the passive.

There are obvious synergies with special tile generators, but not likely anything meta.

And the shared passive... While exactly the same and possibly helpful... Still feels disjointed from the premise of the ability.

I don't have any other thoughts on Arnim at the moment and will await him in game to form any opinion about his use in game.

Maybe we will get a a Red Skull/Madame Hydra double character that could do just that? Now THAT I would be excited for

The passive AP generation while downed feels useless in this era of the game.

Maybe the next 5* will have a way to resurrect them?

If they do a Zombie Red Skull who revives under some set of conditions, or damages teammates, or something....who knows, maybe the passive will seem cooler then.

I tried to figure out a way to break Zemo's and I couldn't...yet, anyway. This passive is a cool idea (don't kill this guy first or he'll power up some nasty active power from the remaining guys) but 1AP per turn in a color is very slow.

As I wrote in the Zemo thread, these 2 guys will be best in PvE wave nodes where they appear in wave 1 so that you down them and provide AP for the remaining wave nodes that can contain lots of Bob (who can use that AP) and other Hydra related characters.

Let me preface this with "who knows," because literally anything is on the table at this point -- but I wouldn't expect them to work that way.

If Zemo is in wave 1 of a 5 wave node, once you clear wave 1 the corpses of those enemies disappear and you only see the wave 2 enemies and/or wave 2 corpses. I'd expect Zemo's passive to only fire when his corpse is still visible.
