Latest glitch - PvP game freeze

Does this happen to anyone else? When a pvp match is entered the game just freezes. Given that all we get is seed teams and seals, it means each match is a sizeable points loss. Makes it impossible to climb.

    It can actually happen in every fight , I get it mostly in Pve, can’t tell you what‘s the trigger, but there are many people experiencing this, so I assume they are working on it

    What's device are you playing on (phone/tablet/pc type)? Many people have older devices that probably don't have the minimum specs needed to play.

    Assuming you have a newer device, try minimizing the game to your desktop and then re-entering the game. I've had to do that on my phone before when the game gets 'stuck' and its like it kicks the game to continue.

    That should be enough to play the game. With only 4 gigs of RAM I'd make sure you aren't running a whole lot of other apps to make sure as much RAM as possible is available.

    I suspect the game is stuck loading assets (images and animations for the characters being used in the battle). Did you try minimizing to the apple desktop and then coming back into the game? That's worked for me before on Android.

    Yah I was getting that hard on my Samsung A13 galaxy phone that is why I had to transfer my account to my Steam account. which is much more stable than the one on the phone.

    Sokun informed me , its a plan to solve this issue on older less capable phones but its a big effort and they are focused on stabilizing and developing MPQ on the unity engine.

    In over ten years of playing, I have had more freezing of the game in the past week than in the previous ten years. And I am on an iPhone 16 which should be more than able to handle whatever this Unity mess is.

    S0kun mentioned in this thread they have disabled the game on the A13 chip because of instability. Your phone uses the A18 but I suspect they are having a lot of problems with the Apple chips.

    Understand this frustration. My 16 pro w/1TB just crashes sometimes as well while playing. Solid connection to WiFi when this happens. Never happened before Unity.

    My best guess:
    The Apple A18 chip generally performs better thermally than the A14, as it is built on a more advanced 3nm process compared to the A14's 5nm, allowing for improved efficiency and lower heat generation. However, both chips can experience throttling under heavy loads due to overheating.

    When a phone is forced to throttle itself (save itself from over heating) instability and crashes are often more frequent.

    If any of these happen:

    • Your phone is feeling warm to the touch (take it out of the case to really tell)
    • Your performance seems to slow down
    • The screen freezes for a period of time
    • The App crashes (crash = It will exit, taking you back to you main screen with apps)

    These are useful details to include in your posts as well. (in addition to your device's model)
    The code really needs to be optimized.

    @Krazy Appreciate the thoughtful post. I have had it kick me to my phones main screen and I have had complete freeze which make me restart. Phone doesn’t ever really feel hot to me. I will try and pay more attention though.
