Champing Nova

Since the last two 5*s got almost completely champed from retro rewards, Nova was the first character in a while where I knew I'd need to spend tokens. I had thought I would wait until it was her and at least one other replacement in the Legendary store, but pairing her up with Shang-Chi made her release store very tempting for me. (Shang-Chi is my first/only 550 and my Shang-Cji Jr is at 12 covers)

So I went in deep with the store's release. My numbers:

  • Spent 2200 CP on 88 pulls.
  • Expected 5* rate: 1:7 or 14.2%
  • Actual 5s pulled - 18 or 21.6% (8Nova, 7Surfer, 4Junior)

Nova is now champed and I can go back to hoarding until next month (or later)

    I’m quite tempted by this store. I am sitting on the largest pile of CP I have ever had and still have LTs and everybody is champed bar Elsa who I will champ once she is fixed. New tablet coming tomorrow. Might have some fun.

    I have Shang duped, and Surfer at 545. Only 8 covers on Nova.

    I'll pull the new store until Surfer is 550'd, or it closes, then rely on Latests to pump up Nova. Then maybe favorite if needed, to get her up to 530.

    I leave them all at 530, not in a hurry to burn slots and iso on dupe 5s. It';s happening anyway, ofc, just not going to race to hurry it along!

    42 pulls, 6 5s for a perfect ratio.

    Got lucky with 4 of them being Nova (now 5/2/2 and L360).

    Will likely pull a few more before the store closes.

    Did about 150-160 pulls. 12 for sc, 9 for ss, and 10 for nova. Sc at 528, ss at 471, and nova at 455.

    I'll always at least get the newest to 450, usually 455. I've been getting the six covers from retro rewards and the 250 x 3 from the quests. I always wait for the release store so I can pull until I hit the number of covers the newest needs before applying the rest in hand. I do it that way for rng purposes, obviously.

    Now I have the newest champed and have plenty of time to decide on pulls from latest once the rotation hits.

    I did some pulls and got 2 covers for her and also today got Anni Torch to 360, so she’s champed now. Nice, the way it lined up.
