Revolving Planeswalker Event Broken after Update?

I was in the middle of the blue Revolving Planeswalker event, when the app update came up. I updated, then played one more round of the RP event, but when I go for another match, the opponent's avatar just spins, and I never get an opponent, so I can't continue.

I'm seeing this on both my iPad & my phone, including if I force-close the app & re-load.

Other events seem to work fine (e.g. Mana Burn).

Are others seeing this, too?

    The opponent did eventually come up... Not sure if it was something I did, or just delay, but I did get my event completed. I still have charges left, though, and if I go back in, the opponent isn't coming up, so something isn't right.

    I got a response from Support - Apparently, when there's an update, the opponent you get matched with has to match your game version # (as well as having joined the event, etc.), so when the app has just updated, you might have a smaller pool of opponents, and it could take longer to find you a match.
