New Character - Captain Avalon (Brian Braddock) 4*

I do like Captain Britain. I wanted him in game for many years, actually, one of my top 5 probably.

This feels so manipulative, and I know Marvel made Betsy Captain Britain in the comics and all that, so they had to follow their approval and everything, but come on.

This is like the cherry on top of a manure sundae.

I guess they have my money, if not my safe word to the Technec party.

This does seem a bit exploitative. In between the nonsense on this thread I told a true story and this is the costume that was used. We don’t have many heroes. I have this horrible feeling if we ever get Guardian, the Canadians will fare the same.

But to be fair, the default skin is his current costume so it makes sense for him to come with it

Are his powers working as normal? When ever I fired Yellow it moves a different character to the front and creates more SAP tiles (that's not in the description at all).

I just played his Shield Sim and my 370 4Carol was murdered by the 270 Britain in the 1v1 and it wasn't even close (I barely scratched him). He seemed to fill the board with SAP tiles far more effectively than Polaris ever does. As an FYI, I have always used 370 4Carol for the 1v1 for many years now (helps comparing new releases since I always use same character). I like her as a character and her passive generates Black even if the board doesn't have much. This is the first time EVER that I straight wiped to a new character as I managed to fire Black once (it counted down 3 turns worth before I died and even with 3 strikes I was still only doing 1 damage) and never got 5 Yellow to speed things up (I got 3).

He seems CRAZY good for a 4 star and I suspect he'll be crazy good once ascended and generating all those SAP tiles every turn (yeah I know, he won't win turn 0/1 so who cares but for anyone not doing that...).

This isn't the experience I am having with him (being crazy good ). He's creating tiles etc but it's so vague about whether it's actually working correctly. If he has to have the highest/lowest health % to trigger abilities does this mean that it won't trigger if another team mate has 100% health or, for example, 50% health?

Mine isn't even jumping to the front and spamming tiles lol I'm not sure what he's doing tbh but I'm teaming him with Captain Britain hoping he's buffing the protect tiles for her abilities lol

Betsy and Brian do seem to synergize pretty well for me. I'm not quite sure how the effects are stacking, but once you get enough protect tiles out, Betsy's purple AOE becomes a ridiculous total party kill. I wasn't expecting it, but that purple was doing like 100K AOE damage.
