Last patch must be disabled and return to previous status

I think the last great path was a mess and we as the users must take action to convince the studio to stop and get back to previous situation. I think we must no play to the game until they do so.

They are not going back if you mean pre-Unity. There is no way.
They are surely stopping development on the old engine as the new one rolls out.
Also it would look extremely bad on their end to suddenly throw away all the time and effort and money and say “the old thing was good enough” after all this.
You can choose to play this or not but don’t imagine that you’ll do anything to change their course of the Unity rollout.

Their entire plan moving forward is to add additional new content and the old engine can’t do that, so this is it

Yeah they are not going back. Remember when we got the new (current) look and feel board + color scheme a year or so ago and everyone hated it due to the incessant flashing? Well once the flashing was fixed everyone just accepted the color scheme and I don't hear anyone asking for the old one again.
In another month or two when the bugs calm down a bit more everyone will accept the Unity engine too.

Very much this. Especially since that was actually 4 years ago lol! I think we've largely forgotten about it by now and that had accessibility issues, but we as players and the devs powered through to fix it.
It'll just take a little patience & I'm sure that's why they are doing this staggered release so they can work the bugs out. I do feel bad for the steam players being used as involuntary guinea pigs/beta testers, though.

If "powered through to fix it" is codespeak for "nothing players could do but wait for a fix" lol, then that's correct. There was no other option, besides quit playing. We lost some good players during that period. Even now, I'm still appalled by the lack of sensitivity and empathy from the (previous) devs for the headache- and seizure-inducing effects caused by the incessant flashing.
While the current issues don't pose the medical risks as it did back then, I sincerely hope the current devs and management do everything in their power to fix and compensate players. Once again, our Steam players are powering through it but the amount of angst and frustration seem endless with every issue related to the Unity release. None have quit yet.

Apprently, the old engine is a **** show when it comes to changing or adding things.
Like apparently changing cover quantity in vaults is basically impossible.
Changing characters in an already run PvE even took like 40 hours of work when they did it with Omega Red.Basically, doing anything but adding new characters it a slog and wastes tons of development time.
I doubt they are lying on this since they have spent nearly 2 years doing it.2 -
Apparently the code is too much of a mess. Remember when Omega Red was launched and they changed that one node in PvE to have him as an opponent? That took days and days of work. Building new PvE is apparently just too complicated. Now I can't explain why if you were a Dev you would come on board a game where you can't do much with it but then I am not a Dev.

Their patches have done nothing but add more bugs with minimal communication. But don't worry, that new character and new offers every day still drop as scheduled. Weird how there's been no issues with any of the monetary things.

Weird how there's been no issues with any of the monetary things.Monetary stuff probable involves very minimal programming so likely very easy to port. Others involve mechanics and what-have-you so higher chance to get bugs? Just guessing here...

That said if you are on Steam you are getting a shed load of LT's thanks to the Crash of the Titans bug so that is new!

The game is far from unplayable. At first it was a real mess but it’s improved.
Still very annoying bugs. And the new ones worry me a bit as they pop up. But it’s playable. I’ve placed T10 with flipped brackets on the beta. Done T25 in PvP. These are in line with my old/current goals.
It might depend on your particular style and expectations though. If some people feel like it’s too buggy or too far from the old game, fair enough.
Soon enough everyone will be able to make their own assessment of it.

[Wanders how the "taking of action" is going]Heh ... If that one no longer replies around here, I think perhaps you'll have your answer.
😆It's just an ffin game, I can't see getting one's knickers in a twist about something one doesn't have any control over.
To somewhat paraphrase Yoda ... Play or don't Play, no other choices there are.1 -
Man the amount of anger and hate in seeing across this forum at the moment is so disproportionate to what's going on.
Guys this is a free game where the Devs are in near constant communication with the community about what they're trying to do to improve the player experience.
I've been playing since almost day 1 and I certainly got frustrated and fell out of love with it for a while and since I've come back, yes, there are similar frustrations that haven't been addressed. That said, what I'm hearing from the Devs is that the previous engine was too restrictive and inflexible for them to easily deliver much-needed improvements and that the Unity engine will (eventually) resolve that.
The engine is now live and, like many new systems, there are bound to be teething problems. I mean if companies like Apple and a Google can push out updates that are rife with bugs that are fixed over time then I think some more leeway should be given here.
Don't get me wrong, I still cannot STAND the matchmaking in shield SIM and there are plenty of issues I'd like fixing but we're actually lucky we have Devs on this that are listening and trying to fix it as so many other gaming communities literally get ignored.
Just have a bit more perspective and patience and see how unity develops from here?
Like the comment above: play or don't play but Jesus, dial down the indignation.
