Just noticed the following characters got Holiday Special covers:

Scarlet Witch
Spider-Man
The Hulk

Gwenpool

I miss any?

    I see the new covers when I open a token and get one, but then in my roster screen they are just the normal covers

    Semi-related. Isn't this something we have been asking for for a long time? To get information as to which characters can get tokens to a certain vault. Winter in July vault: little 'i' button there, and lo and behold there's a list of characters. Wouldn't that be a swell idea for when they'll release a new game engine?

    Only non-ascended characters have the covers in your roster.

    Only non-ascended characters have the covers in your roster.

    Yes they are, I guess that explains it.

    Indeed it would.

    For now I believe the covers are telling you which characters give tokens to the Xmas in July vault (3 deadpool and 2 thor worked for me).

    I went to a pub once that did Christmas in Summer. Proper good it was - you got a Christmas present, there was a Christmas tree and Christmas dinner but you could sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine (well rain probably as this was in England).

    Some of these are odd choices.

    The Thing - isn't he Jewish?
    Alligator Loki - isn't he both Alligator and a Pagan god?

    Cyclops, Gwenpool and Rogue are fine I guess. I have finished scrolling yet - now that I can scroll at least the roster screen - it is about the only thing the game likes doing! Let's explore some more!

    Christmas is a pagan festival that was appropriated and given Christian trappings. Thor and Loki are simply celebrating the original festival.
