A quick search of her bio doesn't seem to indicate anything about the Guardians of the Galaxy. I don't know all that much about the character, but it seems like she is.

    She feels overly complex.

There are plenty of amplifying characters but Rescue Ranger will amplify Spellsa.

Not sure that makes them a good pair to 550 but maybe.

Another power set I need an instructional video to understand.

There seems to be an obvious feeder choice here. I wonder if gargantos becomes a secondary or gets a new primary feeder.

Yup, this is an MPQ original version and I believe her upcoming costume is as well.

Disney owns Fox owns Alien franchise.

Suggestions: Colonial Space Marine or Powerloader costumes.

Oh! Or Predator armor. There are tons of Predator crossovers in Marvel lately.

    .

Would rather have Banshee Lady Sif Warriors 3 Maleketh the accursed Enchantress Executioner any X-Men Characters that’s popular and still not in the game IE Morph Lady Deathstrike ETC over another MPQ original . I am not a fan of these MPQ original characters except Peggy Carter

Personally I think we have enough human/humanoid characters at this point. I'm not sure why they keep giving us people. We're still missing so many popular Marvel dogs and cats and dinosaurs and giraffes or whatever.

I'm very glad the stun power is blue, that'd have been a disaster if it was yellow or something (and they've been ignoring the color pie in very weird ways lately, so anything is possible). It's not quite Kang, but there are situations where it'll be better than he is and situations where it'll be worse. Either way it's a welcome addition to deal with some of these annoying enemy statuses.

I don't like logging in just to be negative, but it feels like - Winter Soldier aside - this year is just a total wasteland when it comes to using the licence to deliver any characters people could actually want i.e. total nonentities sandwiched between joke characters and What If season 3 calibre mashups (though "What If Elsa Bloodstone went to space and became Generic Space Lady With Guns" is at least preferable to "What If Howard and Darcy had an omnipotent human-duck baby").

Besides the obvious initial disappointment, characters with zero sentimental/fandom value are purely reduced to their mathematical value, which isn't healthy as so few characters (proportionally) can be meta at a time - when you strip away any emotional dimension the majority of new characters can be tossed on the scrapheap before they're even released!

Very disappointed we'll never see Cullen or Ulysses (themselves only lower C-listers) but we're getting this, particularly when the 'space hunter' kit could just have been copied & pasted on to either of them w/ different factions.

I agree with you 100% this year has been the equivalent of a wet fart in terms of new characters.

Don’t worry, the next 5 star will be a version of a Fantastic Four character we already have…right?

Id guess Shala Bal Silver Surfer or maybe Galactus finally cause we have all the other boss characters as playable ones

Purple trap tiles hit really hard (13K at 450) and at 5 AP cost or getting free ones from match 4s this might do some serious damage. It's just too bad the enemy can destroy them for free (MThor).

The Blue seems incredibly complex. On first cast it does nothing but place an unfortified 3 turn CD at random. If that CD lasts till the following turn you stun the quarry while it's on the board. It doesn't fortify unless you cast Blue again (while in the alternate form). The cost is 8 ap (can be reduced by a lot of trap tiles but mostly will cost 8 unless you've fired Purple 2x) to do this. Sure you can target away/invisible etc enemies but that's a serious AP cost to do a whole lot of nothing in some cases and even then only get a short term stun compared to the 4 turn stunners.

Massive disclaimer here, because who knows, but I read this as the first cast of blue would stun the target (cast blue, power transforms, second passive kicks in).

If it works like you describe she's DOA.

Oh, I'm also assuming she works like Winter Soldier, where all her abilities that say "Guardians allies" also work for her.

It reads like you fire the blue, and then the power transforms and now that an anchor is on the board, the quarry is stunned. Question is, does that make airborne/away people targetable? Or just let them damage from the trap tiles? Assuming that even goes through and hits airborne/away people.

Red - Little expensive, but I guess that's because of the % damage

Blue - Like I said, what does stunning away/airborne people do? I think archangel stuns airborne people, does that let them be hit normally or just have them stunned up there? Don't think we've ever been able to affect away people at all, so no clue what this could mean.

    • Does the -1AP at lv 4 and lv 5 stack? Hard to tell from the way it's written.

Purple - I don't get when the bolded parts of powers don't change at all. It converts 4 tiles to traps and that number never changes? Same with red/blue AP gained?

Overall looks like a fairly good character. Not meta or anything but looks fun (if everything works the way we think). Though I'm hoping this isn't their answer to leapfrog, which is making pvp miserable.
