The upgrade is a huge disaster.
Nothing works properly. It looks worse. It takes twice as long to do anything.
Go back to the previous version and put this one on until you have tested it properly.1 -
They aren’t going back. They spent money on the Unity license for over a year.
They needed to launch.

Does anyone remember marvel heroes? It was on pc for ages and then it started to lose money, so then they ported it to consoles to bring in more revenue then it crashed and burned and they shut the game down?

Okay, obviously there are going to be a lot of issues and we Steam players get to be the guinea pigs. I assume that the BIG things are being dealt with in full panic mode so let me just drop two small issues...
1 - Please tell me that the abysmal asset loading speed is a one time thing and will not repeat itself every time the game gets an update.
2 - For your own protection, don't pulse every tile Polaris counts for her Particle Accelerator. It will cause epileptic seizures.
I'm sure there will be more notes in the days to come along with a big fat reward for all the Steam Beta testers once this is through.

My 2 cents after playing for a few hours on a desktop and a laptop:
- so far no crashes, keeping fingers firmly crossed.
- mousewheel scroll still works, but in vaults that extend beyond the screen, you'll scroll to the left/right instead of up/down.
- every support was quadrupled, that has now increased to fivefold (still work as normal).
- saved teams were wiped, but new saved teams stay (at least for now).
- quite a few visual glitches as mentioned by others, but also first 4 rows of my Roster have a golden heart that disappears when you move.
- no real gameplay isssues (timers work for me), but it's a bit jerky with the game speeding up or slowing down and often there is a lag after a match.

Yes. I also remember when Marvel Avengers Alliance on FB was going to revamp everything because Flash was being abandoned by FB. We were all assured that everything would be fine, the game was still thriving, and they had just updated their official forum website with a new look and they wouldn't have done that just to close down shop. The announcement that the game was going to close down permanently was announced just a few weeks later....
Hopefully this is just pointless rambling and reminiscing and not relevant to MPQ at all...

One gameplay change I noticed is that in a wave node, new enemies don't arrive until after the board settles. If I'm using Juggs/BraveSam and I do a Juggs match, the match downs the first enemy, then Collateral hits to remove the next two... then the next enemies arrive. Previously, the match would down the first target, who would be replaced, then Collateral would down all three targets.

I run a private server for it. The team behind the server code has had working builds up for about a year now.
It's not what it was, but you can still go around and do a bunch of the stuff you used to.If they continue to work on it, then it might be quite good in 2 or 3 years.

The event timers came back so that’s nice.
I can’t complete WtS because the points don’t apply correctly for the wave and I end at 1600.
The game says the node is worth 300 even after I clear it.

After the Steam Update.
- Saved Teams are all lost, but can be added back.
- Can't complete the daily quest "Stun enemies 15 times with Luke Cage (Power man)" (yesterday)
Can't complete the daily quest "Down 21 enemies with Captain Marvel (Ms Marvel)" (today) - Occasionally can't make matches (You can only press Escape and retreat, taking retreat damage)
The next match is just fine. It is as if there is a race condition in the mouse down event.
I can click on the "X", Options or Retreat, just not on any tiles in the game.
4) Not a great look:
5) Progress grow bar in PvE and DPD will go backwards when you progress to the next event reward tier (reach 100%, just a visual thing)
6) After completing PvE The levels of the enemies are really slow to advance. Thankfully you can just press"Next" and don't have to wait.
7) "Today's News" button doesn't work. You can't figure out who the required daily players are.
8) To many visual glitches to list.
The initial load time of the game is much better.
I'm sure you will take the feedback and it will improve over time.Thanks!

This is a classic example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". There was zero need for a new Unity Server. They chose to spend money on it and we are all going to pay the price.

they really need to shut it down to fix it
that just sucks now cant play boss battle cause i play on steam i cant play on my tablet

Teething problems I'm afraid bud, they should be on this as angry players turn into non players
I wasn't part of the testing I was Invited and accepted but nothing further
Now I'm not saying if I was a tester I could of sorted all of this but I am sort of a legend so seems like I should of been in the top 3 of players we needed on this.

I suspect there's some error with quests involving certain changes in enemy status.
