Jeffrey (Symbiote) Quest not tracking

Does anyone know why the Jeffrey Quest isn't tracking?

Nope, its just not working. I tried the other Jeffrey 3* version just to make sure it wasn't a typo but that wasn't registering either.

To add, Miles Morales (Carnage Symbiote) doesn't work either. I thought I might just as well try the other Symbiote. But no dice.

It works with devil dino. Quest bugged yet again

It a reverse of the earlier bug where the quest said devil dinosaur and you had to use Jeffery symbiote
2 -
Thanks, Devil dinosaur is confirmed as working

Thanks for posting a solution.
**Side Note: **I wish the devs stopped using the "win 15 total matches" type of task.
Often, in order to get the 15 matches in, you have to ruin your PVE refresh timing and play very un-optimally. Some times if timed wrong there aren't even 15 matches to play.
I wish there was an endless fight node somewhere that was always active that didn't have any type of progression ramifications for tasks like these. Helps when there is a Puzzle Gauntlet or Welcome to SHIELD available, but those aren't available all the time. Also wish they stopped using any tasks in Daily Missions that "force" spending -> "Buy in the Store" is a **terrible **task for dailies/battle pass/etc. Often 2 of these show up in the same day -> "Spend in the Store" and "Open an Offer Chest". I imagine these are randomly chosen, but they should just be removed from the rotation completely. Feels very exploitable/scummy/trolling to force User to spend Hard Currency in ways they don't want to just to get the "completed all tasks today" rewards.

The "open 4 cover packs" and "train 3 powers" occur alternately every day. I keep 4 tokens and 3 covers back every day to get those Quests (without having to remember which is next). DDQ gives you 3 tokens per day (ST, ET and MT) so you're only one down at 3* level. Each of those can be used to train a power, depending on your roster.

Unless I’m mistaken, there is never a day when you absolutely must buy something in the store, but it is an option for days you don’t want to use a boost for some reason or don’t want to play PvP etc and still get 6/7 quests done.
As far as the 15 wins ones….yeah they sometimes suck. The devs definitely intended that it’s going to take some effort or planning to do the daily quests every day and some are harder than others. They also pulled back on the ability to clear the vault. Taking a completionist approach will mean some days you need to figure out how to do quests. Whether that’s worth it is of course up to you.
Given that the vault is not fully clearable for free and many days your quests result in small amounts of riso or iso, deciding to spend less time worrying about quests - and letting some go incomplete - for the season vault is basically of very little consequence.
Clearing the season pass is going to happen pretty easily even if you did none of the “win 15 times” ones.

Totally agree. I've mentioned this countless times before but all they need to do is allow us to repeat DDQ nodes with zero points. It obviously can be done, but for years it has fallen on deaf ears (from both the previous devs and this group of devs).

Making certain fights repeatable is problematic because people will use them as health packs -- look up "prologue healing."
I'd prefer something like a "Danger Room" mode that gives us every character at 550 (not using your roster) and lets us run any team against any other team. This solves a whole bunch of problems at once, letting everyone see everyone's stats at max and giving us space to workshop combos and counters.

Been asking for that for YEARS. And I definitely wasn't anywhere close to first.

That takes me back.
But Prologue Healing is why we have the terrible "Burst Health" and "True Healing" split. Burst Health is one of the lesser effects in the game, right up there with Self Damage.
Heh, back to a time when the "Charlie's Angels" infinite team was a thing.BTW, I often use my remaining available Campaign nodes to "Half Health" my 5 Star Gladiator Thor by retreating multiple times, so there are still loopholes.

One of the benefits of playing this game since almost launch is I have a massive stockpile of all sorta tokens that would qualify for the "open" task, but it's the principle of the thing.
To "force" a new-ish user to spend even 10 HP on something that's not roster slots, just to clear a task (and then get the "full clear" task) is punitive and passive aggressive. We were all there when every single HP mattered for roster spots.

Yeah but you are basically wanting to eliminate half the quests. No more open tokens, no more spend in store, no more match strongest colors. Anything else I've missed?
You only need to complete 5 of 6 to get all the rewards on the daily. If you don't manage that for a given day all you miss out on is a taco token and some other minor rewards. I probably miss out completing the daily quest (5 of 6 or more) at least once or twice a week. It's not the end of the world and won't be for newbie players either. It's well known what the quests are by now so if you aren't stockpiling a few tokens to open or saving 10 hp then that's a conscious choice. The game forces all kinds of similar choices (more so in the past when covers expired and I can't count the number I had to sell for ISO).

As KGB says, nobody is forced to do anything. The 6/7 quests means they have choices and do not need to spend HP at all. I very rarely do. All you need to do is play differently - as mentioned before, I used to open everything and train everyone immediately and now I don't. My roster won't fall over because I didn't open my 4 standards tokens or train 3 powers for 8 hours. At this time every day, I have no tokens and no powers to train, but in 23 hours I'll have 4 and 3 respectively, waiting for the Quests to refresh.

10 HP? I have to spend 35 HP for 3* shards.
Does this have something to do with VIP?

Nah it's really 35. I couldn't remember the exact amount when I was typing so I put in 10 hp knowing it was a tiny amount. You are the first to correct it so it tells how little that 35 means that no one else bothered to notice what I entered wasn't right.
