He did. This is a vote for who appears in the next batch of Classics with increased odds. Has no effect on who gets rebalanced, in fact they've said they were putting a halt in rebalances until after the new engine.

Not sure where that guy got the idea that this vote has any effect on rebalances.

You're right; this poll has nothing to do with rebalances. I just think that, of all the 5-stars, Black Widow is in the most desparate need of a re-work. Her abilities are way over priced, and her health and match damage are both really low. Getting more covers to more people will hopefully give the "She needs a rework" idea a little bit of a push.

After playing Knull this past event I am not sure if Widow needs to hold his beer. Yes he is a great chunk of rotten faced meat chunks health wise but never has anything to do with dragons ever been so disappointing.

My concern with rebalancing BW is she’s in a lot of challenge nodes and why make them harder? See also Green Goblin but presumably he’ll never get rebalanced since Hobgoblin is basically an updated GG.

She's on my roster and I would like to use her for something.

Sell her. Then re-roster her and you can use her for champ rewards. That's a perfectly good use of her.

Oh, and if champions have taught me anything, it's to not sell any character ever.

I currently have a 550 Black Widow and a 457 dupe.

Wait, how would she simultaneously be too difficult in PvE and too weak to use? If they make her good, then sure PvE gets harder, but you can use her. If she's still too weak to do anything with after the buff, then who cares if she's in PvE?

Maybe those players who can't handle CL10 should drop down to CL9 until they build up their rosters enough.

Lots of us don't have 550s for PvE when we are doing the challenge node or the 5E node and yet we still have to face 600-650 enemies. Essentially anyone who wants to play CL10 cares about these rebalances that affect PvE nodes.

Yeaaa this has been the case since CL10 was introduced just over 5 years ago. I only had a handful of 450+ 5s when it came out. So what did I do?

I simply didn't play the challenge nodes, accepting that I wasn't at that level yet, and slowly working towards the point where I could eventually compete.

Shocking, I know.

NB: I only got my first natural 550 (i.e. not the 1a5s you can purchase) in Oct 2024. I've been clearing the challenge node ever since Apocalypse came out. Lots of players have been dealing with the lv650 enemies with their 450s, and the occasional ones boosted to 570+.

Or they need 2 copies of these characters. One for players and other different one (pre-rebalance) for PvE.

Scl 10 is the highest possible. If that isn't where those of us with 550 rosters are meant to find an end game level challenge then I guess it's time for a level 11.

Of course, I'm sure there will still be 4 star rosters and baby 5 star rosters complaining that they can't beat major league teams with their minor league players and how that's unfair because they should get the maximum rewards without having to build up their roster first.

I wasn't aware anyone played CL10 for the challenge. I'm 100% certain they all play for the progression rewards. But I'd be happy for you if they made a CL11 with L750+ enemies if it increased the challenge for your 550 roster.

Until they fix the progression disparity between CL9 and CL10, CL9 (and CL8 for that matter) might as well not even exist. Players just go from CL7 to CL10. It's not like that's a surprise to anyone here.

Nobody plays it for the challenge now because it's not challenging. I'd love to play a PvE mode where you couldn't win every single fight in two moves or less!

Anyway, this is an RPG. If a fight is too hard, you grind and level up your guys until they're strong enough to beat it! (Unless you're purposely keeping your guys low level, but who would do that?) That's the fun of a game with levelling mechanics -- you get stronger over time!
