[BOSS EVENT] COME AND GET ME: Thanos (The Mad Titan) - Jan 30th to Feb 2nd

Very weird to all of a sudden have no heroic. Is there an actual (good) reason? If not it just seems like a bad way to give less resources out.

The coolest part of the boss event was the heroic mode and the alliance ranking challenge

1) What are we fixing and how is this getting back on track? I'd expect by that you meant stop handing us the newest 5* before he gets in LL - aka the main change in bossfights since the lack of new 5* in december , but apparently not since Gorgon is here?

2) Either you mistakenly put personal rewards instead of alliance, or alliance rewards haven't been patched, but in game right now it displays 3* rocket and 4* wolverine

Not gonna pretend it's not a thing, but it's absolutely not necessary for t25. Hell, I got #1 with no swaps and 19 disciplined teammates. Hardly anyone tries hard because the threshold has been made that much lower.
The rewards are pretty bad for anyone accustomed to t50 and above ... Fairly certain it's that way because it'll be good enough - or even better than the average heroic - for the majority ...
I'm still hoping the boss vault gets the pick one of 3 so there's at least one thing to do over the week end for competitive players - pull

They do not go to another favorite support. They remain in the background of the one that got the favorite shards If we get rank 6 supports then they would show up again in the support inventory screen.

that makes sense. We've always been reward for these types of capped counters. Like the current cap on SR300.

I'll make sure to pass that info on to people. Dissapearing shards is the prevailing view, but everyone should keep this info in mind

Recently I had the ultimate in bad luck when I was trying to get Leapfrog to R5. I was up to 1580 shards (out of 1600 needed) when I hit 400 bonus shards when opening a basic support token so that meant 320 of those bonus shards were wasted

Once you get within 400 shards on a R5 you hold your breath on every support token praying you don't hit the 400 bonus.

that what you wanna use the stockpile of basic support tokens. once you have enough 5* supports, you can feel confident that regular events will make significant progress for shards

I was using basic support tokens. Getting there 3 shards at a time. You can still hit the 400 bonus shards from basic tokens.

Yep, and your exact situation has happened to me twice, at 1570 and 1580 I believe.

Unlike all recent boss events, normal and heroic, this normal boss event has no loaner characters for either the boss node or the mission nodes.

It's probable that that was an oversight rather than intentional.

After all, why have loaner characters for every normal boss event for months but not have them for this one?

The lack of loaner characters makes this event far less accessible to players who don't have all of the essential characters necessary to play the mission nodes, and it'll make progress in the event significantly more difficult for those players.

Is there any chance that this could be rectified via a patch in the next 24 hours or so?
