Speaking of costumes, the new 4 star Dr Doom was released with an alternate Red costume (Stark Difference). Was there a way to earn this that I missed or was in offered in a cash bundle? It's unusual to get a character with an alternate costume on day 1.

I think it's got to be Jubilee. The clue fits, and it times with the release of X-Men 97. And while you could squint and apply part of the clue to P5 Namor, it's hard to imagine that lining up with the 3* version as well. I'm guessing we'll get the animated series Jubes along with the vampire version.
