Class of 2013 PVP

I thought I was not supposed to get attacked in Class of 2013 PVP event and yet I am getting attacked. I am also getting notifications asking do I want to shield?
I don't play any other PVP events.
I am on Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Why would you not get attacked?
It's a normal PVP event, with placement rewards removed.3 -
In Announcement for this event it is stated we would not get attacked so "go ham".
That is why I have put a notice in the Bug report.0 -
There's no placement rewards, so getting hit doesn't impact your rewards at the end of the event.
