"Herbert Wyndham was entranced from youth by evolution. Voraciously reading everything he could, Wyndham found his muse in Nathaniel Essex (later Mister Sinister). After a chance meeting with an Inhuman, Wyndham unlocked the secrets to genetic modification. Using these, Wyndham has become the High Evolutionary, capable of evolving and de-evolving life. Bringing chaos for both heroes and villains, he pursues his own, often hidden, agenda of improving all life into his idea of a perfect form."

High Evolutionary deals 108 damage, plus 36 damage per Research counter (Max 10).

At 6+ counters, also creates a 2-turn Countdown tile that reduces the target's ability ranks by 1 while on the board (Max 1 per enemy).

(PASSIVE) Whenever an enemy makes a match or fires a power, adds a Research counter and gains +1 AP in the target's strongest color. (Max level 306/102 damage)

  • Level 2: Deals 135 damage, plus 47 per counter. Counter max increased to 11. (Max level 383/134 damage)
  • Level 3: Deals 143 damage, plus 64 per counter. Counter max increased to 12. Reduces ability ranks by 2. (Max level 404/182 damage)
  • Level 4: Deals 143 damage, plus 64 per counter. Counter max increased to 13. Creates a 3-turn tile. (Max level 404/182 damage)
  • Level 5: Deals 222 damage, plus 111 per counter. Counter max increased to 15. (Max level 629/315 damage)

The Missing Link - 6 Yellow AP
Choose an ally: Increase their max health by 7.3% and their ability and match damage by 10%, up to High Evolutionary's max health and strongest base match damage if a teammate is chosen.

(PASSIVE) At the start of battle, if High Evolutionary is not the highest level character, he receives up to 50% bonus max health and 10% bonus ability and base match damage based on the difference in levels, up to level 370. This passive cannot be disabled by stuns.

  • Level 2: Increases target's max health by 9%, ability and match damage by 11%. Increases High Evolutionary's max health by 60%, ability & match damage by 12%.
  • Level 3: Increases target's max health by 10.5%, ability and match damage by 12%. Increases High Evolutionary's max health by 80%, ability & match damage by 16%.
  • Level 4: Increases target's max health by 13.5%, ability and match damage by 15%. Increases High Evolutionary's max health by 100%, ability & match damage by 20%.
  • Level 5: Increases target's max health by 20%, ability and match damage by 20%. Increases High Evolutionary's max health by 140%, ability & match damage by 25%.

Unnatural Selection - 7 Black AP
High Evolutionary deals 7% of the target's health as permanent damage and reduces their match damage by 10% (max 30% reduction). Then if his maximum health is greater than the target's, he deals additional damage equal to the difference, up to 5% of his maximum health.

  • Level 2: Deals 8.5% permanent damage. Reduces match damage by 11% (Max 33%). Deals up to 6% damage.
  • Level 3: Deals 10% permanent damage. Reduces match damage by 12% (Max 36%). Deals up to 7% damage.
  • Level 4: Deals 12% permanent damage. Reduces match damage by 13% (Max 45%). Deals up to 10% damage.
  • Level 5: Deals 15% permanent damage. Reduces match damage by 15% (Max 60%). Deals up to 20% damage.

    Looks like this guy is the same as the 5*, just with different numbers. His black power shows 7AP instead of 8AP...maybe a typo?

    Otherwise...at least we don't have to evaluate him separately!

    I really like more the ultraman costume.
    Like arcade the versions are the same.
    A good way to entice covers for the 5*.
    And if not 4* players will use this 3*.

    Curious why his Black is cheaper here than on his 5* counterpart given they do the same thing. Is it a typo or is it because as a 3* he's rarely likely to get the 2nd component (his health higher)?

    The yellow passive bonus match and ability %s look correct on this version. Assume 5* is supposed to replicate these figures.

    I was under the assumption that casting his yellow also increased the ability damage of the targeted teammate, no? I cast it 4 times on 3* patch and it increased his HP but not his ability damage. Bug or am I not understanding the power?
