D3, you don't call anymore

I send them like 10 texts an hour, I stalk them on facebook, and I keep sending messages to them on AIM, but they won't respond to anything! D3, don't you love me anymore!!?

Perhaps I have just missed some important information? Even if the news is, "Hey guys, we're going on vacation, see you in two weeks," I feel like it's not only bad form to leave us in the dark like this, it's just rude icon_e_sad.gif

  • Start complaining on their Facebook page. The forums are a honeypot for complaints. Once they have us trapped here, we forget how few people actually see these complaints.

All of their worthless posts on Facebook need complaints underneath them, not randos asking to share ISO.

Well as my grandma used to say "No news is good news"

Hopefully it means they are working on a new mode or something. This weekly PvE and PvP is getting a little boring. We seriously need something new to do in game. I really doubt they are but it would add a much needed boost to the game as it is getting stale fast.
  • Have you tried Friendster or MySpace?
  • Or Stalkers Anonymous?

I'm really surprised we haven't at least gotten patch notes... I've downloaded a couple big updates, but when I came to forums to look what they included, there wasn't any comment.

    IceIX was at E3.
  • IceIX was at E3.

For 2.5 weeks? And everyone else at D3 was also there and unable to update or come to the forums and check in?

    Weak excuse.

The forum community makes up a relatively small percentage of their playerbase so they probably think they have better things to do

Well as people that actually play the game instead of download it, throw some money away in the first two weeks and then promptly quit when they hit the ** wall,
we're the least important segment of their game population =)

Do we know how many people work on this game between D3/Demiurge?
Can we compare them to any other game companies?

It feels like it's either a skeleton crew or people just showing up for a check everyday. I feel like if I had a hand in creating this game, I couldn't keep myself from talking with the people who play it the most.
  • IceIX last visited the forum at 6:13 p.m. PST. Maybe he'll drop in.

As for Demiurge, here is an interesting post from someone on Facebook

If you're not getting a response from D3 or they're blowing off your complaints, contact Demiurge directly and let them know! I had someone call me after complaining and the woman said and I quote: Mr. Custer, Marvel Puzzle Quest is one of many games we own, but do you have D3Publisher email address so I may contact them? WTH!! You're company is so big that you can't keep track of who's doing what or lack of doing anything!?! Here's their number: 310-268-0820.

I totally agree! I would say there must be some kind of ban in place that prevents employees from this, but nothing IceIX has ever said has made me feel like there was any barrier other than interest level/time commitment.
