So as I am way out of touch with comics I was reading up on Gorgon having not encountered him since Enemy of the State - God killer is his sword. right? But it says in his wiki that the sword got destroyed in Dark Reign? So did it get replaced/how does he have it for X of Swords? Or are we not worrying about that? I guess he got a new one at the Fancy Swords R Us store. Or Amazon.

It's pretty straightforward actually. X looks like 2 swords crossed. so he needs to have 2 swords. Therefore, he has Godkiller again.

Masterful plotting, Stan Lee would have liked that, high on pizzazz and low on but why??. 'Nuff said, Effendi.

    Comics....

...are no worst than any other media when it comes to this sort of stuff. I mean if Bobby Ewing can come back from the dead in the shower or James Bond rarely remembers to pretend he isn't James Bond despite being a super secret spy and then is surprised when the bad guys work it out. At least in the Marvel Universe the impossible is actually possible. He probably just got Molecule Man to put it back together. 😎

They even made a plot point out of it in Casino Royale. Kinda funny. Great movie.

I made fun of a roommate in college because he watched soap operas. He pointed out that comic books were soap operas with superheroes, and the rightness of it just blew my mind.

It's absolutely true, both are potentially open ended with rolling storylines and recurring characters, I guess the main difference is that comic book characters don't really age but otherwise they share a lot in common!

I'd watch way more soaps if the characters wore capes. Though even "way more" is not much.

The first thing I would do to Eastenders would be have The Hulk trash the Queen Vic and have a fist fight with Phil Mitchell, then he could take a leap and land on Coronation Street where Betty Ross is the new barmaid. Crossover!

So gorgon seems deeply useless or am I not seeing something?

dunno, no reasonable way to pull for him at a high level

He's ok. I think he really needs to be paired with a board destruction engine and/or AP generator in red or blue, and luckily we have one of those, but unfortunately she wants to use all the red and blue herself.

I think I’m going to skip him on the 550 train. He’ll stack levels as I try to get Mephisto and Namor to 550, but once they’re done I’m done opening until Gorgon leaves.

He's pretty sub-par as far as I can tell, he doesn't work without some kind of board-shake partner. I'll end up with more of him than I need, since I don't want to push Agatha higher than I have her, but do want to 550 Namor and Mephisto.

Thx for letting me know, I'll add him to the "forget he exists" pile
