Wilt-Leaf Liege failing to produce the right amount of reinforcements

The first time I used Wilt- Leaf Liege with Abuelo, Ancestral Echo to exile it and return it to play to activate it's ability, it did create the Elf Warrior token and reinforce it 4 times (which was Abuelo's power) but every next turn I did the same thing or used Against All Odds and even Niko, Light of Hope, to exile and then return the Wilt-Leaf, it only produced 1 more Elf Warrior token and DIDN'T reinforce it at all. Needs a quick fix being a masterpiece from the most recent set and all.
