I have actually already seen a few broken scenarios where an enemy team had no protect tiles, but they were someone how receiving their benefit, not sure anyone else has seen this? I'll keep investigating as I can, but I think it was only against an opposing Agatha3, either way, thats good for you if you are using her and something breaks while someone is trying to take you down. So, when it goes negative, it protects the other team, apparently? Basically this means you want a good offense to run with her to avoid this situation.
@WhiteBomber I am glad she exists as an Iron May/Omega counter, but I don’t see them in pick 2 PvP hardly ever. She won’t help with the Simulator Hell Team of Chasm/OR/IMay (yes, I know there are counters) as Chasm would stun her team and Omega would probably take her out super quickly. Maybe when she’s ascended she can survive a few rounds.
I've never seen the Simulator Hell Team either!
Isn't the counter just to move the board once and kill Aunt May? Or is that a team that big players are using to punch down (ie you can't kill Aunt May fast enough, before Omega and Chasm start taking out your guys)?
For me….my highest toon is a 504 Spider Girl and my Electro is still unchamped, but I see a ton of 550 OR/550Chasm/3-4 May teams. I need to champ Electro to have a shot but generally I just skip them as I’m not chasing top season placement anyway.

Yeah, once you make it through all of the people having fun, or MThor, Polaris it turns in to nothing but May, Chasm, Red, at least for me and what sounded like a few others here. I also see Red, May in pick 2 a lot, hiding behind leapfrog or other. Agatha destroys them in pick 2, but there are of course other ways around Leapfrog.
I'm still looking for the best for the pick 3. If you have some levels in her she will survive, but Chasm is really the problem since he shuts down protect creation on turn 1. I can still make it through with Karnak, Chasm, Agatha, but there has got to be something else out there. If you have a strong Electro she can eat the first 2 and give you enough yellow to throw Ags protects, but they are a little weak at just barely level 3 champ. I would love to see her stats when ascended, but I won't be the one to prioritize her. You can also sneak in Pryde for extra protect fun and eating Reds countdown, but I swear everytime I chose those 2 the AI immediately catches my protects.... it's rigged.

Now the big question is, will she get nerfed if you ascend her to 5*?

So when you go negative and your team gets wiped by match damage, I presume this is a bug and will get fixed? Or will they cap the Protect number to stop that happening?Has someone confirmed that is what was happening? When I went negative I don't think I noticed my team taking damage, thought that was just a visual thing. Still haven't gotten the defense on their side either, people would need to be running her to figure it out.

Interesting, mine didn't roll over this time. What did the cap used to be before it went negative? Mine just went to 2,147,483,647 and looked like it may have stopped, I also found another bug while looking for "the team".

Ok, so far for the sickening Chasm, Red, May. I played a few with:
170 Agatha 3, 454 Switch, 435 Electro:
- If the May was level 3 I was able to kill them with losing only a few thousand health off the person in front (multiple times).
- If May is level 4, your electro better be strong (mine isn't even champed yet due to ISO draught) otherwise Oldatha is goin down.
- Start the match with +1 yellow so you can throw Agatha yellow on your first turn if Chasm happens to drain it (might not be necessary).
- I found a bug where Switch dies, but it appears her countdown was still punish them from the grave! Her countdown was no longer on screen, but every turn they buffed my tiles they also got slapped for about 12-25k. Will learn more when I can.
- As noted above, my single remaining protect tile was at 2,147,483,647, not sure if that's above the old cap? But I sure as hell wasn't going to be taking damage any time soon.
So if you have a slightly stronger Agatha and ideally stronger Electro this team should work out nicely.

The 2,147,483,647 is the max number of a signed 32 bit integer.
On them getting slapped every turn, are you sure that's not just Chasm's self damage? It should happen every turn to whomever is in front and since it's self damage, Mays Purple passive should be increasing it.

(It'll probably be me, unless one of the hackers posts it).
(No, I don't care about blindly ascending all these guys, even if they get worse).

Excellent thinkin, but I checked to make sure it wasn't that, it was hitting the other characters and I've never seen Chasm hit himself for 20k (even with the Agatha 70% boost). It was triggering at the exact same time as the buff to the protect tile, maybe I should have turned on anims? Not sure those have anims.

If you only saw it once, I wonder if they had some support equipped that caused more self damage in some way. Presumably it wasn't a support you had equipped.

I saw it maybe 10+ times. Switch died pretty early in to my test but I wanted to see if I could still win. That damage persisted through all 3 enemies, with fluctuating damage from 12-25k. Unless you mean only 1 game/round/match, then yes, I have not attempted to reproduce it yet.
