Please suspend this weekend's coalition event due to the facebook login issue

    30% of my coalition is locked out of the game. Less than 9 hours until the event starts.

    Any idea if the issue can be solved in time?

    Cancelation of the event now will bring peace of mind to many people involved, devs included.

    A fair coalition playing field is what I'm asking for right now. If it can't be guaranteed, it's better not to have the coalition event at all.

    I’m locked out of my account as well. The event should just be cancelled.

    Hey guys,
    Just a quick reminder, for Android devices, there is an option to log in with a Google account, and for Apple devices, there is an option to log in with Apple ID.
    If you've already linked your account to one of these options above, you should be able to log in through it.
    Apple and Google login is an additional save feature, so the same account can be linked to both Facebook and Apple/Google.
    If you've never saved your account this way before, wait until the Facebook login works again and do that so that if a problem like this happens in the future, you won't be without accessing your account.
    Keep in mind that if you try to log in via Google/Apple now without ever having linked your account before, it will generate a new account for you, and it will not be possible to link your main account in the future.
    For now, we are waiting for a fix and the team has not yet taken a position on the cancellation of the weekend coalition event, but as soon as I have more information about it, I will let you know here!

    I agree with cancelling the coalition event if the issues is not solved. Just replace it with a non-coalition event, so other people can still play an event on the weekend.

    I also agree with at least postponing if not canceling the event until all the players can play

    The only logical thing to do is cancel the event. Players that can access the game don’t lose anything compared to other players. Not canceling means a significant portion of player do lose something. Those players get upset, and disenfranchised, then we inevitably lose players due to an emotional reaction. Shrinking the community is very bad. Cons outweighs the pros here.

    @Oktagon_Support separate from the event, what happens to people who can’t login and collect daily rewards? They will miss out on the MOM pack on day 30

    We miss unfinished events from Thursday and every event from Friday to Sunday as well because knowing Oktagon it's unlikely they solve anything before Monday.

    This is not alright. It needs to be fixed asap.

    @Oktagon_Support I have 6 of my top ten players unable to play. this could really hurt some coalitions

    I opened a case to have my account moved 10 hours ago and nothing. I also vote to remove this event until fixed. Top 10 team with multiple players all affected.

    This doesn't help many of us who have google accounts already synched to other MTGPQ accounts

    I agree with the proposal to cancel the event, whilst I can log in, so many can't and it wouldn't be fair, nor would it be as competitive with out everyone being able to compete

    Hurray! FB has fixed the issue on their end! Really glad you didn’t cancel the event after all @Oktagon_Support

    Is there a way to un-link accounts from FB so this doesn’t happen again?

    There are a lot of confirmations in our group and other Discord servers. I have not seen negative reports so far. Glad that it's fixed.

    For those who want to link Google/Apple account but already have a linked account, please contact the customer service team, they will be able to subscribe your secondary account and link the main account.
    Please keep in mind that due to the weekend and the high number of messages that customer service has received regarding this issue with Facebook, your request may take a little longer to be answered.

    @Oktagon_Support I contacted, but every time they respond kinda like "Yes, we know about the problem with FB", "The problem was fixed", etc. I didn't even mention that one, I asked about the removal of Google Play account, but it looks like they completely ignored the message itself. I hope it's because of the lack of time due to the bug resolving, and I'll get the feedback on the working hours.
