Can't play the game after the new update!!!

Help, please! After the new update I can't play at all. Every time I try to start the game the following message appears: "Great news! Tap OK to get the latest version of the game."

Having the same exact issue. Forces me to the Play Store but no update is available. I really don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall as this has caused issues for me before.

System: Android 9

Loaded game, says update is available, at first it would take me to the play store, but now its not even allowing me to click ok.

Edit:  After uninstalling and reinstalling, did the same thing.  I had to go into the play store and update it that way.  It seemed to do the trick.

It says to update but there is no update on Play Store.

Well uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issue.
