Cataclysmic Gearhulk kills only tokens? [Investigating]

In the Fatefull Showdown event the third opponent (Cataclysmic Gearhulk) played Cataclysmic Gearhulk and it destroyed all supports, but only his Thopters and none of my creatures.

I took control of it later and played a mutation on it, which resulted in the same: only the enemy Thopters got killed.

Does it kill only tokens?

    No, that is supposed to be all kinds of creatures.

    can’t count how many times that gearhulk has killed my creatures.
