Lithoform Engine working as intended? [As Designed]

Lithoform Engine destroys trapped gems, such as from Dreadwaters, when first loyalty ability is used.  Is this working as intended?

    • Type and Subtype;

    • Is it related to trigger, mechanic, text, or other?

    • The Planeswalker you were using and its level.

    • Which Event/Battle?

    • BattleLog screenshot;

    • All cards in the deck and possible interactions that might have happened.

    GD: Within the game system, Trap Gems and other types of special gems are, for all practical purposes, and interactions with other mechanics, considered as Activated gems.
