1) have enemy cast Startled Awake
2) cast No Mercy the turn after Startled Awake attacks and transforms to Persistent Nightmare
3) watch Persistent Nightmare freeze the game. (note: this is NOT a soft lock - the screen is unresponsive)

Expected result: game continues as normal

Actual result: game freezes and must be force closed.

Probably get better results from posting in the Magic: The Gathering Puzzle Quest forum down below, rather than the Marvel Puzzle Quest Forum here.

    Cursed mobile site. Thanks.

after some chatting with others, it looks like this can happen when Persistent Nightmare while not reinforced as well. I've updated the bug report.

@Oktagon_Support this nightmare still is freezing the game then it's flip side is killed regardless of the card.

This is apparently still a thing. I’ve now had two hard freezes in this weekend’s HoD, once after persistent nightmare attacked and should have been moved to my (empty) hand, once after I killed my own persistent nightmare with my noxious gearhulk’s etb effect.

I did manage to kill both sides of the card multiple times with no issues in other games with the same deck, so this doesn’t seem to be an all-the-time issue but it has definitely managed to completely devastate my otherwise perfect score this weekend and lived up to its name quite well 😑
