The title says it.

I just cast a living death, I did not have any creatures on the board but the opponent had two creatures ( regisaur alpha and his token). The spell did not destroy those.

Did the rest of the effects trigger?  Oktagon has had issues with cards with multiple effects not function at all if any of the effects cannot go off.  The spell may have fizzled since you didn't have any creatures to lose.

I know it wont cast unless you have a creature in your graveyard, makes it less useful.

Just had that happen to me in one of my last nodes on TS (Terrors in the shadows), the game was a close one after missing that destroy cue.
Living death is cast, gives me my creature back from graveyard, but doesn't destroy enemies, i think the missing piece is that maybe it doesnt destroy all board unless i got something on my side, havent tested that yet
Got the screenshots in any case but not sure how to upload them into the forum properly, edit: got it working, ty @bken1234
