Negative power modifiers on Zero Power creatures stack

Greg cast Dowsing Dagger and I got a 0/4 Plant token.

Bolas used his ability and gave it -3/-3 (not mad level), reducing it to 0/1. Next turn I cast Mantle of Webs on it expecting it to be 1/4 after (MoW gives +1/+3 and Reach) but instead it was 0/4.

Managed to cast it twice again and it became 0/10.

It seems that the negative modifier went below zero and actually made the token -3/1.
This is not how it's intended to work is it?

Actually, this is probably how it should work. The -X/-X things are based on counters from paper MTG that work similarly.

Well either it's supposed to work like that and then the bug is in the display of the creatures power. It still shows 0 so there is no telling what modifier there is.
And the game can show negative numbers on power as other bugs have shown.

It seems though it's like the other counter bugs that resides in the background.
Gaining life at full health for objectives purposes for example (the app adds it in the calculation but not overhealing the PW in game).
Or taking 999 damage from Gates of Azor in BoFT. It will show zero but the PW actually have to heal 999 damage instead of it's actual lifepoints (if you don't use a potion).
