Too much effects , too much freezes

I just had to leave a game on BOFT because the game hardly manages to deal with the tons of effects triggering each turn.
It wasn't a freeze actually, i was able to discuss through chatbox and to see the battle log. The game just decided that it would never resolve the river's rebuke i just cast.
I'd rather have a game with less light and motion effects but without any risk of aborting a game just because the IA is overwhelmed with effects and is unable to manage it.
That being said, it's great to see the team working on the improvement of any aspect of the game ... But i think stability and reliability should be top priorities at the moment.

Yesterday I was playing against Blood Moon in the Battle of Four Tribes event when the app just closed by itself with no apparent reason. Of course that particular charge was gone along with the points. So yes, please focus on stability and reliability first.

That sounds frustrating, but a lot of it is hardware related.  Since I got my Pixel about a year ago I haven't had any issues with freezes or lockups unless I try to break it with an endless loop.

These are not just hardware issues.  When 3 or 4 people in my coalition are getting the same freeze on the same node, it points to a bug in that node.

This one was definitely not coming from hardware ... All was working perfectly even after it occurred  : If it wasnt for the spell that needed to be resolved i could have played the game without any problem.
It kinda looked like the recent problem in OGW part 1.

I can believe that the unplanned mystery crash might be hardware related.
But I have (had rather) a Jace 3 control build revolving around Willbreaker, Dowsing Dagger, Lay Claim, flying spells, and of course Storm the Vault.
This build frequently locked up the board when there were too many blocking plants playing musical chairs in play.

Based on my limited experimentation, it appears the Immortal Sun causes lag instantly when it's played, no matter what else is on the field.

Other complex cards such as Hazoret's Undying Fury and Season's Past also appear to make some lag, although not as much.

@Brigby please let the devs know, its not a huge issue (since the cards still work fine), but it could by symptomatic of system stability issues

I have a new iPhone and it happens to me. It’s not just hardware. Th S is easily the least stable app/mobile game I’ve used. Unfortunately the solution is likely insanely expensive/timeconsuming. But it’s very frustrating.

My phone's pretty much mediocre, so this game often closes and resets when it's in the background. I've only gotten freezes a few times, mostly when it's actually stayed open in the background for a significant amount of time. So closing and reopening the app regularly might help, but it really shouldn't be this unstable.
