    Hi yes having the same problem. I can play my first turn then on the NPCs turn it freezes. Have tried 3 times with the same result.

    Same.  Tried 3 different planeswalkers.  Opponent froze each time after my first turn.

    Anyone else experiencing a glitch in Oath of the Gatewatch?  The opponent freezes on turn 1.  I've tried two different planewalkers and rebooted my phone but the glitch is still there.

    Yep, it's a known issue.  

    For anyone who has the cards, if you can kill him on turn 1 the rest of the event seems to be functioning properly.

    I used HuF/Deploy.  HuF/Inferno jet would probably be even better. Just make sure you dont have any more spells in your deck, and some hasty creatures if using deploy (Piggy is king)

    Killing first turn works. However jotun is also experiencing the same issue

    Hazoret's Undying Fury and Approach of the Second Sun works. Hazoret's Favor with a couple big creatures could work too, but probably takes more mana.

    I'm thinking the AI tiers added with RIX are the issue. The battles that don't work probably don't have a tier set.

    If this is a known issue ... why run a bugged event?
    Even if we do win on turn one in levels 1 and 5, progression
    cannot be made
