Should we ban sarcasm from the forums?

    Yes
Oops, I accidentally pressed enter at the wrong time and now I can't edit my poll to have a neutral option. If a moderator wishes to give me a formal warning for breaking forum rules, I shall take it in good grace.

Anyway, onto the poll topic! Sometimes it's difficult to get at the point that people are driving at when they hide it behind snark and innuendo, isn't it? It occured to me today that one way to deal with this problem would be to entirely ban sarcasm, irony, and all forms of duality of meaning from the forums. What do y'all think? Vote now!

I didn't vote because my nuanced answer wasn't available in the list of options.

    "Yes"
I like sarcasm but I don't like how this poll was written.

Please wait a couple years so I can finish my English/Anthropology/Human Anatomy triple major so I can write a 5000 word thread called tips on writing polls about sarcasm where I'll bash this poll in particular but I won't say it's this poll specifically because I'm super passive aggressive.

I didn't vote because there is no "ban shteev" option.

Depends on the definition of sarcasm.

If it's stating blatant falsehoods and then passing it off as being sarcastic, Yes.

If it's "Yeah, right" (*), then No.

(*) One of my favourite examples of two rights making a wrong.

Is this the right room for an argument?

    No
Sarcasm is one of the greatest things a man has done.
One of the types of satirical exposures, exposures, sarcastic ridicule.
We are all different people. And our character is also different.
Therefore, we can express our emotions in different ways.
Someone through sarcasm, I used all my life and now I use sarcasm in my jokes.
Even with my own child, you just need to know a line what is allowed....
