Health Regain Timers don't always work when out of game

I play on iOS and often when I am out of the game (still running in background) waiting for health to return the health does not return.

Currently I am waiting for Hawyguy to heal up. I last played 2 hours ago and he had a 3 hour timer, I just opened the game and pressed fight and he still has a 3 hour timer...

Very Annoying. Do I have to force close each time I am waiting for my covers to heal?

    I've seen the same thing.  Not consistently, just randomly from time to time.  Force closing the app should fix it, but you shouldn't have to do it every time.
