I am visiting my parents this weekend so my scores might be lower than usual. I should be able to play but probably mostly at evenings/nights so I can't time things too well.

Hello to all the other members,
I'm sure most of you know me as the one who talks far too much on the alliance chat, but sadly (or not), you'll not have to put up with me for much longer. I can't keep up with the game at the minute, I'm one of the worst scorers in the alliance, and that's with spending far more time than I can really afford playing the game.
I've got 8 exams over the next 4 weeks, and I'm spending less time on revision than I should for this game. It's addictive for certain, but at this moment, it's starting to feel less like a game and more like a part time job.
I'm going to have to step back from the game for a while, and as such wish for you to remove me, or ask me to leave when you are able to find a replacement for me (shouldn't be too hard ). I'll keep playing as normal up until that point, but I am aware that for an alliance as strong as ours it doesn't take long to find impressive players that are queuing up to join. It's certainly been a great experience playing with all of you, the alliance chat feels like a small friendly community, as it did in OLYMPUS, a previous alliance I shared with some of you.
Well done Spider on building such a strong alliance, and I hope that after my exams, if I decide to start playing again, that I'll be able to prove I'm worthy once again.
Good luck to all of you guys in future MPQuesting, not that you'll need it.

(TL;DR - Sorting my priorities and cutting back on the game a lot, you're all great, hope to see you again eventually. Plenty of **** cliches)

To all stealthies: after the conclusion of season one I'd like to congratulate you all. We were formed very near the beginning of it and managed to finish 7th overall. I think that says a lot about us as a group. We are unfortunately saying goodbye to ehail and will be replacing him shortly. Ehail, you'll be missed.

Now the question I have had going through my mind is this: if we were to push harder in the game would we really gain anything? Basically if we were to switch from our semi-hardcore/semi-casual style of play and go to all out hardcore would we profit anything. Please post here with your thoughts on this. I'm leaving this up to you and will go with the consensus vote on this.

I vote keep the same standards we have now. Top 50 still gives generous leeway and going head to head with the likes of SHIELD, 5DV, etc. will only burn us out on the game that much faster. We sometimes hit near the top anyways doing what we normally do

I feel like we have a good balance, we don't miss on covers, could get a bit more hp but I don't think it's work it to go crazy.

yeah, honestly i think things have been goign pretty well, I think we should aim for top 50, we have more than enough talent, going to the next level when the rewards are minimal and casualties are peoples lives and in fighting usually lol.

Unless they change the reward structure to be worth it at all for us to push much harder, I feel we are doing well as we are. If you want to be more casual I am ok with that as well.

currently love this alliance, its not killer intense and we do really well, so its just fun

I don't think there's much to be gained by pushing any harder, could we regularly compete for top 2 with more effort? Probably not, we're strong but not really even close to being in the same league as 5DV, SHIELD or X-Men and we already finish in second tier alliance rewards most events so any extra effort would likely go completely unrewarded.

I actually really like that the alliance is a bit more laid back and still competitive without feeling like its necessary to grind every single event.

Thqnks for the replies guys. I just felt the need to get the pulse of the alliance right now as several commanders are doing. I'll tell you all right now that I will be missing the first week of june and will be only able to play the bare minimum. Cheers guys and great job again.

I agree with everyone else. I like where we are at and don't see much gain in going all out. We always are top 50 and get the alliance covers. I think we are in a good spot of being a casual competitive alliance.

I agree with everyone else on the thread already. Only reason i would see the need to step up our game, is if they start making a more lucrative reward structure for top 5/10/25 in alliance rewards.

I feel like, a long as we're all winning covers, everyone in the alliance will be able to build stronger teams and we'll slowly climb up without pushing to hard. More ISO and hp is nice but covers are the most important thing, not bragging rights
