SCL question

I'm in SCL 7 just graduating to SCL 8 this season. This season I decided to play SCL 5 for SIM. For PVP I have also been choosing SCL 5. I was wondering if during PVP could I have chosen SCL 7 in the beginning which I qualified for then SCL 8 later which I ranked up to during the season or would this go against me during the season points since I chose SCL 5 for SIM? Know this is a question that should've been asked in the beginning of the season. I ask now before I forget so I can be prepared for next season. For PVE I still choose the SCL I qualify for.

    Whatever scl you choose for your first season event (ie: vs event or sim) determines your season scl. But you can choose a different scl for every event, if you like.

    Thank-you for the info. Just didn't know if I'd get bitten for bouncing SCL.
